Laying in bed I recalled the gasoline level cutout function. Gotta run for a 27mm deep socket and couple of new plugs. Thanks for the responsesOnan 5BGE Generator stops running..will not restartI know there have discussions on this before and the one I would like to chase is the oil pressure safety switch can not locate it. Gen had been running for about 20 minutes all of a sudden it stopped. When I checked the oil level it was near the bottom mark. Added oil up near the top mark and it will not start. Have had this powering down problem several times recently, It is a 5BGE mod P. I have not pulled the rack out to look behind or under.Re: bedroom slide will not go outI have found that low fluid is the most common for me try adding a bit AT THE MOTOR not the resevoirRe: Battery Control Center solenoid dropout voltagewill BitCoins work....Re: Battery Control Center solenoid dropout voltageThank you Dale for the links and all others who commented. I hate to say it but it turned out to be an "incomplete" battery hook up on the ground side and then a short throwing a CB in the bedroom panel. Thank for goodness for CBs. (It was educational checking all the fuses in the Power Distribution Box.) JoeRe: Battery Control Center solenoid dropout voltageDoug, Thanks. Prior to replacing the batteries for over a year I had problems with this same soleoid "powering down". The switch would glow green and after repeated attempts would go off. After that I would sometimes hear a clicking sound in the engine compartment as though a solenoid was trying to latch or unlatch. That has never happened with the new batteries. I have not checked to see if this version of the board has fuses at the solenoids as I have to take the board off to get to the solenoids. I don't know why the solenoid would work after starting the engine if a fuse is blown and I also measured voltage across the S and I test points during the latching process when the engine was running. Thanks for the comments. JoeRe: Owners opinions, please. My 2 cents....we had a structural side wall problem, they sent a driver out to drive the rig back to the factory and replaced the entire RH sidewall and reinforced the Ford frame. I am kinda luke warm on themRe: Windshield replacementRV Glass Solutions is the only one who could finally get a replacement to fit for me. They are fantasticBattery Control Center solenoid dropout voltage2001 Fourwinds, Gas V-10, Intellitec BCC. Ever since installing new batteries I can not get the chassis solenoid to latch without starting the engine. But the coach one does latch without the engine running. I measure 12.44 V across the coach batteries w/o engine running. I can hear both solenoids "click" when I activate the DPDT switches. There is voltage ( 1.19 V as I recall) across the test points in the BCC when the switches are activated. If I leave the coach DPDT switch in the "on" position and start the engine the coach solenoid activates and all is well. (I still get 12.44 volts at the coach batteries which is a little bit bothersome..why isn't the alternator charging them). I did NOT charge the new batteries when I put them in thinking some driving would fully charge them. If I turn off the engine the coach solenoid unlatches after about 15 seconds but the engine solenoid does not. I am thinking that my batteries are not fully charged above the unlatching voltage of the chassis solenoid. But??? why doesn't the chassis solenoid unlatch. I read somewhere that 12.8 volts are required to keep them latched. Do I just need to get my batteries charged above 12.8???? (I forgot to note what Intellitec revision of BCC I have.) Ty for any helpRe: Problem with Quicken 2014I just got a Intuit letter saying a bunch of "stuff" my own words, would be discontinued effective April 30th, and saying "we have you covered on Quicken 2014". What are the issues with Quicken 2014 as I was about to jump to it. I also am a long time user
