Rated one of the 10 best zoos in the country. Warning though..... get there EARLY. Long lines to get in. Take your lunch. Picnic area and playground.Re: Full Timing and Cedar Creek 5th WheelsWe fulltimed in a CC for two years. The walls were always cold in the winter. We were just never in love with it so traded it in April for a Open Range. So I guess it depends on your needs and likes. Good luck with your decision.Re: Affordable insurance for full timer in S.D.In answer to was_butnotnow. We have been domiciled in SD since 2010. We are now both on Medicare. We have our Medicare supplement through Gerber Life and our Medicare Part D through the Humana WalMart plan. Have not had issues. YET! As far as I can determine, the changes in insurance have only affected those under 65 who now go under the ACA.Re: 2009 montana falling apart 1 piece at the timeIN 2007 we bought a 2002 Cedar Creek. We were going to live in it one year before fulltiming. Started in January 2009. COLD COLD COLD. Could feel wind whipping in the slides. In February 2009 bought a 2009 Montana. Much warmer. We had no real issues with the unit but last August traded up in a 2014 Cedar Creek. We like the rig more except like the previous CC, not as airtight. Not around the slides, but the windows. Reasons for the trade up was after 4 years living with an RV fridge we wanted a residential fridge with ice maker. Also the Montana bedroom closet was very narrow. The CC has a walk in closet. Best of all - this unit is self leveling. About the tires - had many blow outs with the cheap tires but on the Montana. We upgraded to G rate Hankooks. When we traded the Montana for the CC the new tires on the CC came off and put on our trade in and we kept our Hankooks.
