All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: Oregon/Washington Spring or FallSpring might be a bit warmer. Stress might. But the activity level seems to be on the increase. The jet stream hasn't changed to a summer track yet. Fall is my favorite. Weather can still be summer like on occasion. Everyone is settling into post Labor Day routine. There is a H.S. football game in almost every town you stop.Re: Campground in the Port Townsend, WA areax2 for Rest-A-While but don't forget Dosewollops also.Re: WashingtonThere used to be a good time. Now there are just better times. I have found late Sunday night 10 pm or so northbound and go through the city. That is if there is no home game. Express lanes usually against me but that is O.K. Most traffic that time is southbound. The 10am-2pm time frame I will take 405 either direction. Northbound I come into it from 167 but keep an eye on construction. I go through Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Phoenix and around as much of L.A. as I can. Sometimes you just have to brace yourself and take what the traffic gives you. I usually get in line with the semi's and go with the flow. When they change lanes, I change lanes. Try to stay in second or middle lane as much as possible.Re: Propane Leak?First off, propane is odorless. What you are smelling is methyl mercaptan which is detectable to the human nose at 3 parts per BILLION. Lower explosive limit of propane is 2.1 parts per million. The point is a little bit of smell goes a long way. Are you sure you are smelling a leak that you can't find or smelling residual odor? If it is a continuous constant odor don't take a chance until you have found and addressed the leak. Take it to a propane dealership if necessary. Do not put teflon on any brass fitting.Re: What's your favorite spaghetti sauce?Mine is the recipe that was taught to me by my Italian great grandmother. Coincidentally, it is the same recipe Clemensa is trying to teach Michael in the Godfather movie. After being newly married I caught my German wife following a recipe for spaghetti sauce. My family was appalled and I have never let her live it down.Re: The Pet Stop Boards, sure's been quiet, ...Too busy running my hound dog on the beach.Re: Severe problem towing 2014 Jeep Cherokee dleslie125 wrote: Hmm. Looking at this entire thread now (my Cherokee delivered in Nov 2013 gets the wiring harness on Wednesday) it seems to me that the experts like et2 sure disappeared or went silent when all of their comments proved to be totally incorrect. AmazingRe: Paint/Clearcoat Repair Peeling Above WindshieldI feel your pain. Just had mine redone along with the roof side rails. Last three years I put the old paint to a real test. Facing blazing desert sun all winter and facing southwest into the Pacific ocean in summer. Paint shop was Crown RV in Palm Desert. Said they see a lot. It is a clear coat thing. I was going to hire a guy who would do it in my sight but could never locate him. Everybody said go to Puerto Penasco where there are lots who do it in place. I ended up doing the professional paint booth route. They did a super job, plus resealed the roof.Re: running you generator???Run ours as needed mostly for air conditioning. Will start before we pull into a rest stop so we will have it for micro nuke or whatever.Re: Stay in Play SMIIf it is wired correctly on your four wire it shouldn't activate on exhaust brake light. Also behind your sensibility adjustment. That is where your inertia braking comes from.
