Then to Google to see what others are asking for them. Then gather your repair invoices together and begin negotiating. Good Luck.Re: Laredo to MazatlanThanks Richard. We are excited to get back to Maz. Haven't been there in 3 years.Re: Laredo to MazatlanBrian: yes we are going to do the new road. Looking forward to it. Thanks for your help and we look forward to seeing you at 50 Point. Happy new year to you both.Laredo to MazatlanPlanning on going through Columbia crossing at Laredo, down to 40D and Mazatlan. We have traveled in Mexico numerous times but not for the last three years. Any tips?Re: Model Year vs Resale Value (all things being equal)I've been in the RV biz 36years and I don't think the price of fuel discussion is at all relevant. A few weeks after I started in 1978 a couple of the veterans of the RV business pulled me aside and told me that I should never think of selling RV's as career. They thought that there were two things upcoming that would destroy the RV business. One was dollar a gallon gas, that would kill it dead and if that didn't do it trailers selling for more than 20 grand certainly would. It's now 2014 and I'm having my best year in the last 10 and probably one of the best ever. Buy what you want, when you want. Screw the experts!Re: Slides not workingPlug it in or start the generator or the ignition and get the batteries back up where they belong. That should help for a start. good luck LarryRe: Canadian Full Timers and InsuranceCheck with your provincial health insurance. In BC and Ontario and other provinces they will give you "permission" to stay out for longer than a year 1 year in 3 or 1 year in 5 depending on the province. The penalty for not getting permission in Ontario, if they catch up to you, is a 3 month wait to get back on the plan. LarryRe: I got the best part time job out thereI'm no Santa, but I've got a sweet gig! We full time in our motor coach. We summer in southern Ontario Canada and while there I job share RV sales for a large dealer. My job-share partner and I start work in mid April then work a week, play a week until about now. Works out I work about 3 days a week for about 26 weeks, so we still have lots of time to poke around Ontario in the summer. Come mid October we are off for the winter. It's a great part time summer job and the money's good too.Re: Dirty electric @ state parkI love my Progressive protector. It's saved my butt on at least 3 occasions. I don't leave home without it.Re: Motorhome insurance in OntarioI've been with Wayfarer for the last 6 years as have most of my RVing buddies. No complaints, not one. i was even happy with their claims department.
