However, due to Hurricane Arthur coming up the coast, we decided to cancel. Not knowing how much impact was going to happen to Virginia Beach, we didn't want to chance it. I mean, I am pretty sure flying objects from the high winds is not good for the camper, and I'm also pretty sure my camper can't float. It was a tough decision that I really didn't want to have to make. Anybody else feel sad after cancelling what could turn out to be an awesome camping trip?Re: Reliable Cleaning Spray - INCREDIBLE 2012Coleman wrote: Thanks for sharing - now tell me where you got it! Please? I got my bottle from a local RV dealer in Thurmont, MD named Beckley's RV Center. I'd imagine most RV dealers will have it, as one of the very first things listed for applicable uses is the black streaks on RV's and campers. If you can't find it local, you can order online. Their website is www.reliableproductsonline.com Mosseater - It wipes right off without much elbow grease at all. I was spraying directly on my camper instead of wetting the rag with the solution though. Needless to say, hardly any real work involved.Re: Reliable Cleaning Spray - INCREDIBLE 7happycampers wrote: Reliable Is this what you are talking about? I have been looking for a good cleaner that wont oxidize my aluminum. I may have to try this. Kevin & Crew That is exactly the stuff I'm talking about. I only got the spray bottle so that I can try it out. I'll be buying the gallon refill next time for sure.Reliable Cleaning Spray - INCREDIBLEThis is my third year with the camper and I have an aluminum siding 30 foot Summerland. I, like most everyone else, hate the black streaks that happens on the front and side of the camper. I've tried many different cleaners, including Camco's Black Streak Remover. My dealer recommended that I try a cleaning solution called "Reliable". I bought a bottle and cleaned a spot on the side of the trailer. All the black streaks wipe right off. I couldn't believe it! If anyone else is having problems finding a good cleaner, give Reliable a try. Now if I can only get the wife to help me clean the entire trailer. :BRe: Suggestions wanted for small travel trailerIf I read correctly, your Jetta Sportswagon has a tow capacity of 2000 pounds(?). That said, even the 13 foot Scamp weighs 1200 pounds dry. Won't take much to put another 800 pounds in the camper. Do you know what your payload capacity is in your Jetta? Maybe consider a pop-up or maybe even A-frame, as I think they are lighter weight? Just a thought.Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there a trick to the trade so that I can avoid being resized in the future? Click on "edit" and you will see what I did. You can just put that in when you make a picture post. Your picture was 1024x768. The other alternative is if you use the picture posting icon, just put 640 or any other smaller number in the "width" box under the picture URL box. Leave the "height" box empty as the forum software will then size the picture correctly. Barney I see what you did there Barney! I'll be sure to use that for future pictures. Thanks.Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BTW - StephensX04, our first trailer mod will be installing a backup camera on the back of the trailer. I'd like to see what's behind the trailer as I back it up so that I don't hit any trees at the state parks. Park rangers wouldn't be happy bout that. :)Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stephensx04 wrote: Lol that's Awesome. What do you think of it? We got the electric awning on ours. Kicks butt. We haven't got to use it yet. Just picked it up. Already in the works to modify rear bumper to hold bike rack or platform for totes or generator. First outing will be end of April. So far I love it. Problem is that I towed it home in January and I await very patiently to go camping, but weekend plans are not cooperating. No electric awning on ours, but the manual awning is a piece of cake to set up. Hey Moderator - I set the 640X480 as I set up the link to the photo. What happened? LOL Moderator edit to re-size picture to forum limit of 640px maximum width to avoid scrolling. Re: Sorry Now I have pictures, LOLNice trailer. Your profile says you are in Maryland and I recognize that dealership lot. Playing a game of Jeopardy: "What is Leo's RV Center?" :)
