When breaking camp it's air up to full ride height, retract levelers, retract slides. Been doing it this way for 17 years with no issues.Re: Time for changeWe did he same thing last fall. We started tent camping in 1970 right after we got married. Over the years we had a tent trailer, a small hard sided trailer, a 36' Layton travel trailer, a 30' class A, a 34' class A and then a 40' Dynasty. But, our Dynasty sat for over a year without being used, and we realized we just didn't have the passion for travel that we once had. The fun had gone out of the experience and it became a chore to set up and break down camp. We do miss it, but we now spend our time pursuing other interests.Re: Why no ignitor on RV stove? Our cooktop has an igniter that only works when plugged into shore power or when running the generator. Each burner knob activates the igniter when you push in and then turn the knob.Membership "card"?Received my roadside assistance package today and GoodSam should be ashamed. A printed "card" on regular stationery paper. We used to get two plastic cards so the wife and I each had our own. What are we supposed to do, make our own copies to carry with us? You certainly can't carry it in your wallet and expect it to last for very long. Since GoodSam discontinued the roadside app, which was unusable anyway, they just continue to go downhill. Also, you no longer receive a member benefits brochure. Instead, you are told to look up the benefits brochure on line. What a joke GoodSam has become. This is how you reward a member of 20 years.I will be calling tomorrow to inquire about receiving a refund on the membership.Re: CA Redwoods Area for a 42' FWHers's another vote for Ancient Redwoods. It's our favorite spot to stay when visiting the redwoods.Re: appThere used to be, but not anymore. It never worked anyway.Re: Dinghy Towing 2008 Ford Edge FWDWe have towed a 2008 Edge AWD for over ten years with no issues.Re: Motor Home/Trailer Life Magazines Cease PublicationI wonder how long it will be before they shut down this forum.Re: Oregon Highway 138 and 38That's the route we always use with no issues. We are 40' with a toad for a total of 60'.
