When we cleaned out the mh, we had a garage full of stuff. We're learning a new way to camp.Re: Winterized, but still want to useWe use ours also all winter. I just blow out the lines and keep it plugged in. We've done two short trips this winter.Re: Dull HeadlightsFound replacement assemblies on Amazon for our 2002 Itasca 32V. Put the DOT number from the original, clouded over lenses into the search, found they were from Ford Aerostar van. Cost me 60.00 for two assemblies. Took it to a Ford dealer after I installed them and they aimed them when they did our oil change.Re: ThanksgivingHappy turkey day to all from the great pacific northwest.Re: Carpet Out, New Allure Vinyl Plank Floor Installed (Pics.)Very nice job, do you have a slide out? If you do, does it cause issues when you pull it in. I ask because we have very slight marks on our existing carpet where the slide out rolls in/out.Re: Decal removalWe used a local graphics shop to cover the 'ghosts' on our 2002 class a after using a plastic scraper and some automotive too gone. Covered them with our favorite football team - GO HAWKS.Re: using coach a/c while driving?Summer driving in Utah, we always use the Genny and roof air.Re: Dumb mistakesNew tow bar with jeep wrangler toad. Unhooked at campground, (was so easy, told DW I got this), ended up chasing the jeep down the hill, DW used to back up the toad with the old rigid tow bar.black tank odors solvedHave had intermittent issues with black tank smells in the mohome after dumping the tank. Have done all the cleaning, rinsing, gestapo monitoring of the amount of h2o with each flush, etc. Finally bought a "cyclone" accessory for the black tank vent. Up on the roof to attach it but when I removed the factory cap (2002 itasca sunrise 32v) I found what initially looked like a wad of dried up toilet paper occluding 90% of the pipe. My initial thought was, that must have been a helluva flush to force it that high. When I pulled it out...it was an old dried up mud dauber nest. My guess is my tank odor problem is solved. Cyclone was unopened, so back to wally world and a refund.Re: Remorse?Only regret we had was buying a class c first. Should have gone with the class a we have now.
