Had a Curt in my old truck for 8/12 yrs. Bought a B&W Companion hitch for the new truck. Took our first trip at Thanksgiving. Chucking virtually disappeared with B&W. No issues at all hooking up or getting the hitch to release when unhooking. I did have occasional issues with both hooking up and unhooking with Curt. The Curt is a good hitch, but I am a B&W fan for life. Oh, one added benefit of the long bed is the 48 gallon tank on the 176" setup. I am very happy with the truck and hitch.Re: Where are you work camping?Beaver Lake Campground in Custer,SD.
