Was there a reason you decided against them?Re: Will my 2014 F250 need overloads?Anybody have a very positive review of airbags? I will be doing some back roads, such as in the National Forest, but I limit the white knuckle stuff and do not like to tear up equipment. I favor airbage theoretically because they have the ability to lower and raise the bed of the truck on demand. I have 4 or more inches of sag I need to get rid of. So many people have so many different approaches it is quite confusing. Also, how exactly do airbags get messed up if they are not punctured by sticks or rocks? Every time I read that someone took off this or that and tried this or that it costs $400 or $300 to try something new. I want to do it once and be done with it and go campingWill my 2014 F250 need overloads?I have a 2014 F250. I just bought a 1999 Northstar Laredo hard sided 8' slide in camper. I am still working on the camper so I have not been able to mount it on the truck yet. Therefore I do not know the combined weight of both for sure. I also have not been able to eyeball the camper on the truck and see how much sag I have. For my planning I was wondering if anyone can predict the future and tell me if I will need spring help, overloads, etc. The camper will weigh about 2800# to 3000# loaded, is my guess. The time for me to get to the wilderness is approaching fast and I would like to have an idea if I will need to spend extra money and time. The truck is 10,000GVW. It has the snow plow package so it has the heaviest front springs they make. All rear end suspension is factory with a tow package and no camper package. I will be able to weigh the rig in a couple of weeks but I do not want to be surprised. Any help please?Does my 2014 ford f250 need an isolator?I have a 2014 F250. I can connect up the power harness from the hitch plug to the truck bed. I do not know if I need to add an isolator or not. I have the tow package. I do not have the camper package. I have a 1999 NorthStar 8foot hard sided camper. Thanks for any help.Re: which Bplus has rear bed/dinette for tall personThank you all for your input. Particularly names of rigs to look for. Also, Rolin, was there an issue with the seat belt not fitting the passenger due to the top strap anchor being too far forward when the seat is farther back? Your 2inch square pipe solution has me wondering if a Ford platform could work for my wife's seating issues. Do you have any other tips or observations to share?Re: which Bplus has rear bed/dinette for tall personThank you Virginia, What I want is a van conversion with a wide body, and without the overhead. Class Bplus or small C, all the same to me. I need some help with names of manufacturers in order to begin zeroing in to shop. Anyone who can help is appreciated. Thnks, Michaelwhich Bplus has rear bed/dinette for tall personHowdy, My wife and I want to buy a used Bplus. We want a bed that is made up all of the time. I am thinking this requires a rear bed setup or a dinette that can be used as a bed setup full time. We can lump it without a dinette. And, we would like to sleep sideways in the Bplus. I assume most bplus campers can do this, as I am 6'1" tall. IF I can sleep sideways this will give lots of room forward of the bed. The question is this. I am wondering here in small town USA just which Bplus units I should zero in on. It is a huge job to look at specks on ALL class B motorhomes and figure out which are Bplus size. Then it a huge job to identify the rear bed/dinette models. Could someone help save me time and identify the rigs I am after please? Next question is because I live in small town USA I have been able to see very few of the Bplus rigs in the flesh. Is it true most Bplus rigs have 80 inches or more from side to side at the back? By the way, we have had several rvs without bathroom. This is fine, as we only use a bath for a hanging closet. You guessed it, we camp in the wilderness. Thanks for your time. ADDED LATER: For health reasons we need a Chevy or GMC. The reason is Dodge is a bad choice, Sprinters are too expensive, and Fords make their vans with an unpleasant passenger leg room area for a person with back issues.
