My wife is a very light sleeper and a king just won't work for us. I know there are couch convertibles but we'd like to save that for the grand kids. I know its a tight fit, just wondering if the manufacturers have ever considered it as an option.Re: Proper Jacking method for dual axle trailerI've used the level blocks before in a tight situations which works in a pinch. Biggest problem I'v seen is what's under the jack. If your stuck on the side of the road in loose dirt or on an incline you need a small piece of 3/4" plywood or something to place a jack on.Re: WD and Air Bags on Rear - Why a No-No?I run bags and a reese and wouldn't go back. I run about 40lbs normally, maybe 10 more if I've got a fully compliment of people (6-7) in the rig.Re: Slide Maintenance$1000 into diagnosis? What the hell are they doing? I'd flipping yank my rig out of there so fast.......Re: Nervous NewbieOne last tip. For some campgrounds (especially in Florida) make reservations early. For the popular ones, they can get booked in a hurry. One that we frequent sometimes is full a year ahead of time. Memorial Day, Sping break, etc. Relax, take it slow and enjoy.Re: Walmart etiquette?Walmart Etiquette. Thats funny......Re: Outback ownersWe've had ours for several years and really enjoy it. No problems so far. Happy for you, just make sure you''ve got the required muscle to pull it! And don't reply on the dealer to make that assessment.Re: New for us 2016 Outback 325bh concernsPics might be helpful....Re: WHEEL BEARINGSI usually give the zerk fittings a shot of grease every year before the big trip. Head over to northern tools and pick up an inexpensive pyrometer. I usually check my hubs and my tires during rest breaks. Easy to do a once around the rig for loose items, bikes, etc. I then take a quick reading on the wheels just to make sure temps are even. If you've ever blown a tire, its a real messy experience.Re: New camper! What manufacturer would you recommendDO not go by what the salesman tells you when it comes to towing. They're selling a trailer. Especially at a show. Slow down and do the home work. Best place to start is right here on this forum. These guys are seasoned RV'ers and they know a bunch about what your rig can handle. You do not want to hit the road and have a white knuckle trip on your first time out. Been there are done that. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
