I guess I'm not that lucky, I have had problems with carbs on small motors in the past, If I don't run or drain the carb bowls sooner or later I will have to take them apart and pour the snot out and clean the jets with spray. I have used Sta-Bil in mowers and snow blowers seems to work, but I drain the carb-bowl in the generator,and also run it when ever I get a chance. I have two 1500 watt heaters I use for a load. Agree, cost less money and trying to find the correct size to fit is a pain. If the window isn't broke, it can be made water tight easier then replacing. There was a few more salvage stores around Elkhart a few years ago before the bust. we like to go to Shipshewana Trading Place is home to the Midwest's largest flea Market, weekly auctions, and special event, lots of fun, great Amish comfort food. Sorry to read about your problem. I chased a leak in the same window, I thought, When the sun had the front window good and warm I took vinyl weather seal from the out side and pushed the glass out of the frame. The mastic was still soft and pliable (2003 Thor) cleaned it up and went to the auto parts house for windshield mastic, one tube was around $15. put a bead of that around the frame and set the glass in it. The vinyl needs replaced but will get me by for now, I bought a new frameless rear window from Bontrager's RV surplus this last summer for $25.00. I will get back over there this next summer for the vinyl. On with my story, it rained and water ran down the window frame again, well I found it, the seam, front cap to roof, not the window. A used roof air ended up on my repair bench, I've never seen one this full of stuff, even roofing nails, crimp wire connector, and sticks. While cleaning and checking roof air conds. I ran across this. there was roofing nails, wire connectors zip ties, and small sticks, between the condenser and the fan blade. Some one replaced the roof air rather then clean it, or they didn't look2.6KViews0likes9Comments
