I have used Sta-Bil in mowers and snow blowers seems to work, but I drain the carb-bowl in the generator, and also run it when ever I get a chance. I have two 1500 watt heaters I use for a load. It seems the more I run that little screamer the better it runs. And I have priced a onan microquiet 4000 carburetor.Re: Window Replacement - looking for source or advice ron.dittmer wrote: Personally I would opt to repair the old window rather than buy a second-hand salvage window. Maybe the salvage window will leak worse. Agree, cost less money and trying to find the correct size to fit is a pain. If the window isn't broke, it can be made water tight easier then replacing. Out of all the windows and doors I went through at Bontrager's I didn't see one that had been installed, all new, they may have some take out/used windows, but I didn't see them.Re: Window Replacement - looking for source or adviceThere was a few more salvage stores around Elkhart a few years ago before the bust. we like to go to Shipshewana Trading Place is home to the Midwest's largest flea Market, weekly auctions, and special event, lots of fun, great Amish comfort food. And pick up RV supplies while in the area, Also White Pigeon, Mi. is where Bontrager's is at.Re: Window Replacement - looking for source or adviceRacks of new windows at surplus store Click For Full-Size Image.Re: Window Replacement - looking for source or adviceSorry to read about your problem. I chased a leak in the same window, I thought, When the sun had the front window good and warm I took vinyl weather seal from the out side and pushed the glass out of the frame. The mastic was still soft and pliable (2003 Thor) cleaned it up and went to the auto parts house for windshield mastic, one tube was around $15. put a bead of that around the frame and set the glass in it. The vinyl needs replaced but will get me by for now, I bought a new frameless rear window from Bontrager's RV surplus this last summer for $25.00. I will get back over there this next summer for the vinyl. On with my story, it rained and water ran down the window frame again, well I found it, the seam, front cap to roof, not the window. A picture of a $25. window Re: Repair or replace? Not a one of these were bad, these was removed from units, some new units, that had leaks in the evaperator, they will not supply any sealed system parts. I could have sent one to you, I got $1.25 per pound. Some one bought a new air condA used roof air ended up on my repair bench, I've never seen one this full of stuff, even roofing nails, crimp wire connector, and sticks. What kind of critter would fit in through the vent holes in a good shroud? [img] [/img] [/img] [/img](no large holes)What kind of Animal would do this? While cleaning and checking roof air conds. I ran across this. there was roofing nails, wire connectors zip ties, and small sticks, between the condenser and the fan blade. Some one replaced the roof air rather then clean it, or they didn't look Re: AC not getting super coldAssume it's clean, power is correct, check temp difference between inlet and outlet of ac. 15 degrees or more is good, less have a tech check it.
