Replaced switch and still no light, this time I tested the neutral wire and it was open. Traced it back to circuit breaker and found a loose connection but not the problem. Real cause was technicians PO used to fix WH didn't know what they were doing, they cut the supply wire and used wire screw on clamps instead of replacing wire into the circuit breaker or soldering the connection.Re: pine sap removal from rubber roofsIs turpentine still on the market? should dissolve it but no guarantees on it not dissolving the roof. Rubber is now plastic and plastic has softener that might be removed. I like the peanut butter, leave residue and will attract mice and squirrels away from inside.Re: P30 Brake Lockup - SolvedLocking up can also be caused by the brake line rubber section at each wheel collapsing internally not allowing fluid to release and the bleed off solved it, for a short time.Re: First lightning forecastI installed a whole house surge protector in the motorhome just to match what we have at home. When we leave home we leave behind the lightning capital of U.S. so lightning not our major concern, much more in tune with the trees overhead for dead branches or since our run in with NUTS and the damage they caused. Falling nuts go right though sun aged A/C shrouds. Did have a laugh last trip out, with a storm approaching the MH next to us was installing a 40 foot pole, asked if it was lightning protection or a ham antenna, neither a huge flagpole ;)Re: Black Streaks (Under window) up dateMust of changed formula, in old days it was abrasive, stopped using it due to feeling the grit and seeing the results on gelcoat.Re: Black Streaks (Under window) up dateSoft scrub is abrasive and can take the gloss off gelcoat, you want black streak off not paint, if coach is blue paint whatever you use has to be safe for painted surfaces. If you are going to use abrasives Barkeeper's Friend is the least abrasive product. I would go the cw store route and checkout more black streak removers without abrasives and advertised as safe to use.Re: Black Streaks (Under window) up dateYou don't say how old the mh is, if it still has the original luster of new fiberglass or flat when cleaned and dry without wax, Blue sounds like it is a stain in the gelcoat or first layer of fiberglass, I have used bleach on bare fiberglass to remove the odd bird stain when they eat berries.Re: Spotty tinted windowsIf it is hard water spots, wash and dry with microfiber cloth. If spots don't come off with window cleaner add a little vinegar to the cleaner.Re: Wattage and ohms and amps.....Oh My!220 X 4 880 amps fully charged down to 50 percent = 440 or 10 hrs run time, if the batteries are new, and not running anything else. if the 40 you quoted was 12v and not 120 v. which would only last an hour.Re: Muffin Fan Installation Norcold 1200LRIM bob213 wrote: Owners who never camp in 90 to 110 degree temps will have much better cooling and won't understand the need for fans. Refrigerators in slide outs seem to have more problems due to the lack of venting. Each is different. I have every cooling "helper" known to man and still struggle in our 100+ degree weather, but it is better than the last TT we had! Add to that parking in the sun with reefer in the afternoon sunny side. Then there is the time door is open to get to the beer or sodas, many with kids have a separate cooler relieving the reefer of traffic. Using indoor outdoor thermometer tells the story without opening to check.
