All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsForest River RoofWe are looking at a 2015 Forest River X-Lite travel trailer. The trailer has had very little use on the road, mostly sitting still. Everything looks great except when I inspected the roof from where the front cap meets the rubber roof back about 3 feet or so the rubber has lifted from the roof. Not all the way but it is bubbled up in about half a dozen places and is loose from the roof. The seam on the front cap has been resealed due to a leak, the wood under it seems to be fine and not rotted and no evidence of a leak on the ceiling inside. My question is will this hurt anything or will it just lay there loose. The rubber roof is in great condition with no evidence of sun damage or wear of any kind. Do I need to be concerned?Re: heat in the lower storage bayFor my last motorhome I purchased two 200 watt heaters and two thermocube that plug into an outlet and automatically turn on at 40 degrees and off again when the temp rises. They kept the storage compartments warm enough so nothing froze.Re: Contacting the owners of this forumCould someone tell me what rules were broken, official rules that is?Re: Contacting the owners of this forumThis forum is owned by Goodsam not Marcus. The rules say to use that email when you have questions or concerns. No, I am not against the rules, I am very much for them. There is no rule that states that a posting should be close as soon as it is posted in order to censor the users of the forum.Contacting the owners of this forumAnyone here who has a problem with postings being closed as soon as they are posted please contact the owners of this forum at websitesupport@goodsam.com Please give them your ideas and opinions on this matter and a possible sulution.ModeratorWhy is it when we have a discussion going on her on the "discussion forum" you delete it? More so if anyone says anything against you. If you want this to be a classified ad listing only, then call it that and give us a place to discuss the good and the bad about the workamping positions. You are the moderator, not the owner of this forum and you should be watching for pornogaphy, bad language, arguments and so on, not censoring what we discuss. Please pass this on the the actual owners of this board for a decision on what is the purpose of this forum. Thank you.Re: Refer Fire Extinguisher??Mine is in there for peace of mind. I hope I am not the first to report that it worked. I also hope you are not the one that didn't have one and needed it.Re: Do You Tow A GM Vehicle 4 DownWe tow a 2007 Chevy HHR, I installed a switch to disconnect the #8 fues and tow in neutral. No problems.Re: Transmission Rebuild cost?Sounds like a bad PCM to me. The control modules will get loose or coroded solder joints.Re: ZEP with or without decals? Before or After?I agree on not using ZEP wax. At least not in the desert southwest. The sun causes the zep to peel off badly making your motorhome look terrible. I am in the process of removing it now and it does not come off easily even with the ZEP stripper. I wish I had never applied it in the first place.
