B&W Web site says the 1 inch thick jaws are cast....there is a big difference between machined and cast. The curt jaws are cast as wellRe: Ram tow ratingsI was in the same boat as you....2010 3500, 68rfe,373's..but mine was a crew cab..did some research and bought a 2014 3500 crew cab with the HO 6.7,Aisen tranny, and 410's. Now when I upgrade my 5er I have more than enough truck. But I traded my old 3500 and my wife's 1500 in on the new 3500 and a new 1500 for her and it only cost me 80 bucks a month more than just the old 3500,,her 1500 was paid off,,but I did do alot of shopping and dealing to come out where I ended up I think luck was on my side as well....you can find one it just takes some work to get it done. Oh and by the way the new one pulls so much harder than the old one...I feel you can't go wrong with the drive train that I found. If you love ram's you'll love that combo.Re: under bed auxiliary fuel tankWell I guess that my only other option is an in bed auxiliary tank any one have any expirences with these hooking them into the existing fuel system degree of difficulty any problems associated with it filling the main tank under the truck suggestions will be helpful..thanksRe: under bed auxiliary fuel tankI do have the 8 foot bed. I am not able to look under my truck just yet as I am in the hospital until Monday or Tuesday but will crawl under and see what I can find. I just really love my big tool box and would like to keep it but if I can't find what I like then I guess a new in bed tank and tool box combo might be the answer. Thanks for the direction in my search.Re: under bed auxiliary fuel tankJust checked out transfer flow their site says they don't even have a replacement tank for my TV. All they have are in bed tanks for my TV. The search continuesRe: under bed auxiliary fuel tankI think I had seen a website that had them but cannot remember or find it now if I Remer right they had one smaller one and a larger one that had to have the spare removed to fit just can't find it again I guess I have a Google defiencency can't seem to find anything I look for lately....lolunder bed auxiliary fuel tankI have a 2014 Ram 3500 CC 2x4, Aisen w/4:10's and I would like to add an auxiliary fuel tank but want an under bed mount unit. I also was wondering if there would need to be any changes to the def system ya know adding another tank or just tying into the existing tank....so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. ThanksRe: Wall constructionI still think that vacuum bonded aluminum framed walls with block insulation is better....just my opinion...but as go ducks states how the owner maintains the unit makes alot of difference if not all the difference Thanks for your responsesWall constructionJust wondering the pro's and con's of each type of wall construction pinch rolled or vacuum bonded?....I know the foam block insulation is better because of fiberglass settling as the rv runs down the road. Have been told that in higher humidity areas the vacuum bonded walls still allow humidity to get into the walls and cause mold but this just doesn't sound right to me so opinions are appreciated.Re: Companion hitch hard to latchIf you are using a Teflon lube plate it may have gotten caught in the jaws on the hitch when you back under it.
