If that's the case, I vote yes.Re: Wabasco or espar diesel heatersI've been in trucking for 33 years and have installed both units in OTR trucks. Both are very nice systems. Very fuel efficient with low battery draw. It's like 1 gallon of fuel per 8 hours run time depending on temp settings, and no more battery drain than leaving parking lights on. I like the espar unit better because of the digital temp control. The wabasto unit has a round dial with no numbers. You just have to guess where you want to set the temp and readjust if it's to hot or cold. Both have had zero failures in the 5 years since they were installed. I think it would be an easy conversion. Good LuckElectric heatersThis has probably been asked before, If so, sorry. Getting started early this year. I am looking to add an electric heater to help cut down on the propane use while plugged in. Are there any formula's to know what size heater I should use? Trying to heat 23 feet of camper and only help not over ride the furnace.Electric heatersThis has probably been asked before, If so, sorry. Getting started early this year. If I remember correctly they will be out late this year or next.Re: Michelin XPS Traction Tires, Anybody Ever Run These?I've never run any Michlelin's on a pick up. I do have a say so on what tires are purchased to run on our class 8 trucks, IMHO and opinion's from tire dealers, Michelin uses a softer sidewall rubber compound. This makes mounting the tires easier but also lets the tire "walk". It somewhat feels like driving on an underinflated tire. I'm not putting down Michelin. They are one of the top of the line tire companies. I would check the tire spec's for load range, sidewall ply's against other brands to see if they match up. I found a 16 inch tire that's a 12 ply on a 1 ton. Rides stiff but doesn't flex much. Holds up to everything I can give it.Hitch extensionsI know many of you pull a trailer behind the truck while the camper is loaded. My question is this. Would you still use the weight distribution hitch/sway bar set up with a hitch extension if the trailer normally needs a weight dist hitch. Seems to me it would not transfer the weight as intended. Any thoughts??norcold refrigeratorCan anyone tell me what the temp should be inside the fridge while on 120v and temp slide switch on 5. We had the camper just off level and it seemed warm to the touch. After getting a perfect center on the level, it was cooler but never got cold. This was the first trip in our new camper and I'm not sure if I'm expecting to much.Re: Fridge noiseIt is on electric, has been plugged in for 6 days now. Leveling was done when he set up while I was there and as close as possible to center. If its off its not much.Fridge noiseMy son just bought a new TT and is in the get acquainted stages so far. He just had to throw out most of his food from the fridge. He said it makes a gurgling noise most of the time. Is this normal? The freezer seems to be cold enough but not in the lower section. Any idea what to do? He wants to stay for 3 more days.
