Just got it back from the repair shop (exterior issues) and plugged everything in and ran it. The blowers on the furnace are working but blowing cold air. My hot water heater is working, so I know the LP is ok. This is new to me so are there any good places to begin to troubleshoot? Thank you.Re: Battery and slide outThanks everyone. It is not an old battery (maybe two years). I kept it inside trickling in the winter but I guess to no avail. Thanks for the confirmation.Battery and slide outHi, I brought my TT in for some various repairs with one being that the slide out does not operate on battery power. The repair shopped called and said it was because the battery was dead. Could that be true even if the rest of the TT is powered by the battery? Or might the battery be weak so that the lights work but not the slideout? ThanksRe: Roof Repair Advice NeededThanks to you both for those responses. I have walked on the roof many times and I don't believe there are soft spots that would indicate dry rot. And yes, these are a few quarter size holes in back right area. I am thinking I got too close to the branches of a tree when I was pulling it in and out of my backyard. As I indicated, I have spent a good amount of time on the roof and these are the 1st tears I have seen. I appreciate the help.Roof Repair Advice NeededHi, I brought my TT into a repair shop for a few things, including some small tears to the roof. The repair shop told me the roof was in terrible shape and would cost $1,000 to repair. While they explained what he would do, I could not understand what the issue was to cause all that work to be done. Anyway, I did not have the money to repair it. Quick background. I bought the 2009 TT in 2011. The roof has always been dirty, but I have cleaned it and used a protectant a few times. It never cleaned up totally white, but it did clean. So I have two questions. 1. The tears are small. Can I use roof tape to seal them? 2. How can I determine if I need to put a whole new coating on the roof? I was watching a few videos on it and it does not seem too difficult. But how do I know if it is necessary? Thank you very much.Re: Beach DrivingThanks for everyone's help. Certainly, a lot to consider but I am glad to have the advice and not have to 'dig' out of the problems on my own.Re: Beach DrivingThanks. Yes, I forgot to mention I do have 4WD Low. Thanks.Beach DrivingCan someone give me some tips on beach driving? I have gotten pretty comfortable driving my TT over the past 4 years, and I would like to camp on one of a number of local beaches that provide access to self contained units. About all I know about beach driving is to lower tire air pressure, but can anyone provide some tips, potential problems/solutions? I am pulling a 30'TT and pulling it with a 2000 Ford Excursion (10 cal). Thanks so much.
