All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsAwningJust purchased a new Bounder about a month ago and we have a manual awning and am thinking about getting a electric one but keep in mind that ours is 20' and we have one slide out under the awning. Don't want to spend the money for a new one if it will not do what we want it to do. Have heard that when you have a slide out under the awning it will not have to angle down like we now have with the manual one or will not drop down as much but will open straight out. Would like to hear from others that have the same application as I do.Re: question about existing failuresThanks for the replyRe: question about existing failuresOne more question, maybe 2. :-) Does GS consider when excluding coverage what is covered in the manufacture coverage or chassis (ford) ? Example: if GS covers the slide outs and manufacture covers the same item, who do we submit a clam to? 2nd question: we have the big tires on our coach. (22.5) and our coach did not come with a spare tire because or storing it in the RV ( no space) and I have a blow out. Keep in mind that I also have GS RSA. How does that work? What is the cost of the optional tire replacement with GS extended coverage?Re: question about existing failuresI received 2 quotes, I believe both "Gold", one is 4 yrs which I can afford and the other one is 7 yrs. which I think is high. Do they both offer the SAME coverage other than the years?Re: question about existing failures new vehicle is considered a good risk I read the quote they sent me and your correct, 2% or less file a claim during the first year of ownership. So if I crunched the numbers correctly, if I pay annual, or what ever and do not file a claim during that first year, then you can add that amount into what it would cost me if I waited for the second year.Re: question about existing failuresWe just purchased a new MH a few weeks ago and the dealer was really pushing to Extended Warranty as well as some other things. We decided since the coach is covered for one year bumper to bumper and the chassis is covered for I believe 3 year or 36 months by Ford, so don't see the need in any extending coverage. If I am thinking wrong, let me know. ThanksRe: New class A BounderJust purchased a 2013 Bounder Classic and have't been out with her yet but next week-end we will. Any issues that people have experienced with theirs? We are excited!Re: 30 amp/50ampThanks for clearing that up for me!!Re: 30 amp/50ampWill everything else work except running both AC?30 amp/50ampStill new to Rving so have a question. We currently have a 30 amp coach and looking at a newer one with 50 amp service. When in a camp ground that has only 30 amp , can we still us our coach?
