WHEN BUYING A USED TRUCK CAMPER........
What kind of "official" paper work should come with a used truck camper. A title or registration, some kind of transfer of ownership? The people I'm buying from say they don't have any paper work on it. They got it new. They are very nice people, but I can't figure out what says I own it, after I buy it. All great info. The salesman at the shop said he didn't think I needed them. He said try with out and if you don't like the ride come back and get them installed. Thanks everyone for the responses. I have nitto terra grapplers 305/60 18's. I air down to 18psi. When I stop and start to go I start to dig into sand. I air down more , results don't really change. I go in 4 lo, and I get out of the mess I was in. Always had 1500 size trucks , always used 4 hi on beach without problems. Is it typical to ride in 4 lo with heavier trucks or with a camper on the back? Thanks for the replies.396Views0likes0CommentsF350 SRW crew 6.0 diesel, need help
I have a 2003 ford f350 srw with a 6.0 diesel, long bed. I've only heard negative things about the engine. I've had it for 2 years and had the turbo and fuel injectors done. I've replaced the hubs also. I do a lot of fishing on the beach and have had problems with driving on the beach in 4 wheel high. I air down to under 20psi. Does anyone else have a problem on the beach with this size truck? Also looking to put a lance 2003 830 on it. Will that make more problems for me on the beach. Thinking of getting a different truck, I'm losing confidence in the truck. Any ideas? I'll be a new to the slide on camper world. Thanks for any input.5.4KViews0likes19Comments
