I am reluctant to try and pry it off as the entire assembly seems “wobbly” on its mount. Anyone with experience with this or any thoughts or ideas? Many thanks, DonRe: Diesel prices finally falling !!From your thread title I was ready to grab my checkbook and go look at pushers! :BRe: Is a motorhome "Only For The RIch"?Only for the rich? Hah! We're two retired teachers, and in this country that is the very definition of NOT rich. But we have been RVing for some 14 years. I only wish it were longer. But do you look at a cost/benefit analysis to justify owning one? No way. If you want one and the travel opportunities it offers, you find a way.Re: RV Christmas Wish ListMy pre-Christmas gift to myself is a new tow set-up with braking for our new toad. For Christmas, I hope Santa brings me an RV-GPS and, if I'm really lucky, a Go-Pro camera.Re: Ford Edge, Honda CRV or Jeep Cherokee, which to tow?You might look at the Chevy Captiva. Tows 4 down. It is only sold to fleets in this country and thus you can only buy used. It is essentially the old Saturn Vue with the current Chevy Equinox running gear. Lower consumer recognition means it sells for less. Bought a 2014 with 18,500 miles for low bucks. Comes with a full warranty. Very nice little toad.Re: Life lesson - In case you're not awareWe have gotten to where we call two card companies and advise them of our travel plans. They will ask some specific questions, so you have to have your route pretty well nailed down. But we then have no problems with those cards while on the road. To be honest, we find ourselves using cash more and more. First were the travel problems (before I started the notification process), and then It was the gas pump readers that were being hacked. So we have suddenly found ourselves back in the sixties, buying with cash.Re: Thor Ace 30.2 or jayco Greyhawk 31fsI suggest you stand in the shower and see if you fit. Nothing worse than not being able to take a comfortable shower. Also, (not to be crass) sit on the toilet and check the room you have. Bathrooms are a favorite place manufacturers use to save space,Re: disadvantage of having MoHo parked in driveway. We never have the RV in the driveway unless it is because I am working on it. Then it will never be the day before we go away. Even for a long trip, we will load up the Yukon the day before and take everything to the shed. I generally turn the fridge on a couple of days before to get it cold and make ice. The day we leave one car is in the garage and the other one goes with us. The mail is stopped, the kids next door are contracted to pick up the paper, the lawn man is prepaid so grass is always cut, the thermostat is programmed, all the standard lights are on timers, and the water is turned off.Re: Leveling a class AI'm not sure the clinometer on your phone is that accurate. You might want to just stretch a line with a hanging level from the center of the hub of the front wheel. Then measure the distance from your line to the center of the hub of the rear wheel. That's your difference. Done once. But why bother? That's what leveling jacks are for -- to level the coach. You don't need any blocks unless you are on a serious slope.Re: Why switch to a Residential Refrig, thinking out loud !!How do assure the refrigerator doors stay closed on a residential unit? Don't most of them use a light magnetic catch on the door?
