I know that this doesn't help you in Calgary, but if you pass thru Oregon stop at the Speedco in Aroura just south of Portland. They are able to show you most of the process just standing by the rear of your coach when they do the service. You can even go underneath your coach if you wish. Check Speedco,s website for other locations. I don't have my last bill, but it was in the area of 230.00 for oil, filters etc. they also checked the status of my oil and coolant. Took about 1 hour. Don Cochrane PS Check on this and other RV sites for info on changing fuel filters, how many quarts of oil, DCA 4, and other suggestions. Just a quick note for those who want to get a Shaw Direct system to go to the southern Us and Mexico. Get a .74 meter dish as opposed to the .60 meter dish. The larger dish works in the most souther parts of Mexico where the .60 meter dish only works into the very northern part of Mexico. My automatic Winegard travller dish is .74 meters and works well everywhere. The tripod installs in PV area requirethat the dish be rotated to its highest point and on some installs we have even lifted the front legs to obtain the higher point. Others I have seen have drilled out the range of travel to increase it. There are dealers in the PV area that have Shaw direct systems to sell and service274Views0likes0CommentsRe: Bell Tv
Vic46, I realize that Shaw Direct does not support on the go (mobile)satellite. Neither does Telus that is for home use only, try to get Telus on the road as a Rver. For me, using SC then Shaw direct all over North America without problems has been great. Left Bell sat in 04 when they left us without sat on a 6 month trip. My Winegard traveller dish sets up when we park for the night in a few minutes every time. We do carry a portable dish for the odd time we are parked behind trees etc. Don Barber243Views0likes0Comments
