I've seen the cooling units run anywhere from 450 and up. Wouldn't know how trustworthy the computer boards would last after I did that.

Replacing a fridge
Unfortunately we had to get rid of our Norcold 6162 because it was leaking ammonia. I'm having a hard time finding a replacement that would fit in that opening. Anybody else run into this trouble? I wouldn't care if it was just a electric fridge.

I felt the big tank and the coils and they were not hot at all. Is the thermostat under the access panel?

I've opened it yes to feel the coils and that but didn't smell anything out of the ordinarily.

Norcold 6162
Our fridge in our 95 travel trailer has stopped working. There's power to the board cause the front panel lights up. The gas does ignite and burn but running on either of them doesn't make the fridge cold. Anybody have any similar problems or know or possibly what could be wrong? I realize it'll be 20 years old and I'm fearing the worst.
