We ditched the mattress and the fabric valances, shampooed as much of the soft areas as possible and used vinegar and baking soda to deodorize the cushions. (http://www.walnutridgerv.com/cleaning-foam-rv-cushions/) With the windows open for a couple days everything was much fresher.Re: What a messOn our last trip we bounced over some pretty wash-boarded roads. Everything was everywhere. The cushions moved from one end of the TT to the other, cabinets opened up, the grates on top our stove shook off. But the worst was the baking soda I keep in the fridge and freezer- in sealed (or so I thought) tupperware boxes. Both managed to open up and douse everything with a fine white powder. I didn't think is was that bad (it's baking soda right?) but that stuff is murder to was off. I still have a fine grit throughout my fridge, freezer and kitchen area. Oh and I shelled out the extra .50 for the spill-proof Arm&Hammer boxes this time around. Only time will tell if it's worth the upgrade. :-)Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Our "new to us" TT on our maiden voyage to Lake Avery in Rio Blanco County Colorado (Top) and on Black Mountain in Moffat County Colorado (Bottom). We've fallen in love with boondocking! Re: Broke oven gas lineSo it's the smooth tube that is no longer connected to anything. Re: Broke oven gas lineI took a picture but am having trouble posting it. How in the world do you add one?Re: Broke oven gas lineIt was quite the boom! when I tried to light it. Thank goodness no one was injured.Broke oven gas lineOn our last trip we went over some pretty rough roads. In the process the side screw fell out of our oven element, the element bounced around and the gas line into the pilot light broke. Has anyone had any luck repairing their line? It was attached by a flange and a nut holding it onto the pilot light. We try to DIY as the nearest repair shop is at least 3 hours away. Our TT is a 2003 Thor Wanderer and our over is a Magic Chef. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
