The first was the factory install and the second I installed, both were BLACK plastic, both started cracking and shrinking in the corners from excessive heat, really don't think the shrinking plastic was from over tightening or an alignment issue...... Been in construction all my life, and am a Master Carpenter, so I realize how important proper torque and frame alignment are, plus I have also seen the effects of the Phoenix and West TX sun on plastics. Also it sets in the sun 365 days a year, no indoor or covered storage. So trust me when I say that it was caused by the SUN. Thank you for your input, you have been a HUGE help......Re: Entry Door WindowNot an alignment problem, just black frame's and the hot Texas and Arizona sun problem. I ordered an EDWIN, recieved it, Just havent had time to install it.Re: Entry Door WindowThanks for the info, and the link.Re: Entry Door WindowCracking around the corners, the sun just seems to destroy them in little to no time.Entry Door WindowHas anybody found a good replacement window frame for the entry door window. The last one I replaced lasted about 15 months, the one before that close to 18 months. Not that they are hard to replace, but they should last longer than that.Re: What did you do to your Class C MH today???Installed a new 32" flat screen tv.
