Listen to Harvard. Ford spec for caster on F53 is +4 1/2 degrees +or- 3/4 degrees. This is a common fix on trucks. www.stempf.com The shims go between the axel and springs and it's well worth the effort. Had the same problem 3 yrs ago with 09 E450. Had front end aligned but no good at all in the wind. Found Harvard's info on forum and had Ingalls 594's installed to his +5 suggestion. 28k miles later still going strong, can drive one handed. We just had the same experience with the under side of the matress being wet. There was also lots of moisture at the side windows and corners of the overhang. Turns out we had not been cracking the vents open at night when the furnace is on. We even had those vent pillows stuffed in there just to make sure the heat stayed in. Condensation was the gremlin. A friend of ours, who is a full timer, pointed this out to us. We removed those pillows, opened the the overhead vents a little, problem gone. Our Class C is 25 ft long and I was told thet even two people breathing can cause some condensation at night.155Views0likes0CommentsRe: "5 star tuner" on a V-10?
Have run the 5 Star tune in our 09 Sunseeker for a year now. Prior to that, we did 2 years with stock tuning. Our travels on the interstate hwys are now much more relaxing staying in cruise and not having to jockey the gas pedal all day. We run about 9M miles a year, what a difference. Thank you all for the guidance, we're looking forward to this trip. We are driving a Sunseeker 2300 and this is our 3rd trip to Tennessee in 2 yrs and we just love seeing the different areas and have met some great folks there.
