Thanks again for the info and suggestions. Once I got the one apart it was very obvious how the tension was set. The passenger one was still snug and just needed the height adjustment set. The drivers side had worn bushings. (It became noticable last season) I was going to skip rebuilding it and just buy a supersteer version but I had purchased some New-Old-stock GM 266316 replacement bushings on ebay a bit ago for $15/Pair and figured I'd give them a try. I knocked out the worn ones, pressed in the new ones and used a 1000 grit 3 arm brake cylinder hone to fit it. It turns smoothly and no more slop. I have no doubt the Supersteer version are a nicer part and would last longer but the factory ones have been functioning well for me for many years until just recently.631Views0likes0CommentsRe: How to adjust the endplay on a p30 bellcrank?

I am going to have to use a torch or something to get it loose as it is not budging with a 18" wrench. I am reading I can adjust the endplay on these What is the spec and How can I adjust the up and dow endplay? I am replacing the drivers side one completely but the passenger side one has no side to side play but I do have some up and down movement. Thanks!5.7KViews0likes11Comments
