I understand not working the best on those types of summer days, whoever when the entire coach is 95 degrees so I think there is a problem here. Top unit has been cleaned, intake has been cleaned, all the windows and skylights are blocked off. Anyone else with this problem on these units and any solutions? After Market Pin BoxI am sure this is a topic of past discussion; Have a 2013 Sandpiper 365saq with the Lippert Components factor pin box model LIPP 1716. Was looking at upgrading to aftermarket pin box for better ride and less wear and tear. The new Sandpiper's come factory with Mor-ryde pin boxes. Was looking at that and also Lippert Flex Air. Just started research and those were what I have seen at campgrounds, any other suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance!Re: 5th Wheel rear hitchThank you for all the photos and advice!5th Wheel rear hitchI am planning on fabricating a hitch for the back of our 5th Wheel. It will be primarily for bikes but may use for other things depending on what plans I find. Have used the 2" receiver that bolts to the bumper before but I am looking to make something a little stronger as I know the bumper is not strong enough. Have thought of fabricating a hitch to fit to the frame and use a swagman bike hitch. Have also looked at campers with the cargo rack that flip up. Does anyone have any links or photos of hitches/racks that they have added to their campers. Thanks for any ideas!!!Re: Nebraska routes 2/385We went to the Black Hill last year for family vacation. We are from York NE and are located right on I80. We took the interstate all the way to Sidney then north on hwy 385 for two reasons we were on limited time frame and locations for gas stops that we could get under with our 5th wheel. Hwy 2 through Nebraska is a great scenic route. Just have to keep in mind gas stations can be limited in western NE small towns. Make sure you have enough fuel range with your TV.Re: Hydraulic Slide ProblemBB_TX Thanks for the help. The auto reset circuit breaker / buss breaker was the problem. Easy fix!Hydraulic Slide ProblemWe have a 2013 Forest River Sandpiper 365saq quad slide (bought in 2012) with two seasons on it. The slides when opening or closing will stop for a few seconds, you will here the hydraulic pump motor click like a restart fuse and then you can continue to move the slide. This happened last fall and winter when I needed to pull the slides, but just figured the cold weather and cold fluid was the problem. Now is has started again late summer and not sure why. I did have a loose electrical connection on the motor which has been corrected and all other connections as well. Don't notice any leaks or fluid anywhere? Any other ideas to check would be helpful?Re: Insurance QuestionProgressive offers a policy for full timers that offers to buy additional coveage for personal effects.
