Hydraulic Slide Problem

We have a 2013 Forest River Sandpiper 365saq quad slide (bought in 2012) with two seasons on it. The slides when opening or closing will stop for a few seconds, you will here the hydraulic pump motor click like a restart fuse and then you can continue to move the slide. This happened last fall and winter when I needed to pull the slides, but just figured the cold weather and cold fluid was the problem. Now is has started again late summer and not sure why. I did have a loose electrical connection on the motor which has been corrected and all other connections as well. Don't notice any leaks or fluid anywhere? Any other ideas to check would be helpful?

Thanks for the help. The auto reset circuit breaker / buss breaker was the problem. Easy fix!
  • Auto reset circuit breaker.
Probably located near the battery and/or slide pump. When they get weak they over heat, break the circuit, cool, reset, overheat, break, cool, repeat. Cheap and easy to replace. Any RV parts store and many auto parts stores will have them. Look on the side of the case to see the amp rating of yours.
The clicking you hear is the breaker resetting.
  • Weak battery? Only sure way to know anything is to seart with a voltage check, move to an amp draw.
