Thank you so much for the help so far. The GVWR number located on the door is 7,000 lbs. Today, husband and I looked at the Coachman Freedom Express Liberty Edition with a GVWR of 10,866. He loved it, dealer said we could tow it no problem, and I say the numbers don't work, correct? Do I need to find a trailer with a GVWR of 7,000? Hi all: My husband and I are in the process of researching travel trailers. We would be towing it with a 2015 Ford 150 3.5L Eco Boost Super Crew 5'5" bed/145 wheel base, axle 3.55. We went to a dealer today and of course were told we could tow just about anything. We are trying to determine what is true and real. Can anyone provide any information? We were told on another message board about 7,000 lbs. is a realistic number but my husband does not quite believe the number to be higher and our calculations are not in agreement.
