We were hoping for something a little more permanent. Also we priced out the folding running board option, eeeeek very pricey may be the only alternative. Good feedback on the frame holes and integrity of the frame especially when under load. So seems to be a common problem with no out of the box solution. Still looking into it.Running boards + extra stepWonder if anyone has come across a possible solution. We have a 2014 Ford F250 Super Duty, factory Running boards, 18" wheels and snow plow package which makes the unit sits a high. PROBLEM: My wife has issues climbing into the cab. The factory running boards help, but it is still a struggle to climb in. Question: Has anyone i)found a single step that would fit under the running board allowing a two step entry system OR ii) successfully been able to lower the factory running board? Any real life experience would be appreciated. GPGRe: Towing with Dodge short bedI also experienced the same issue as LADYRVer with the slide binding the tailgate. (2006 Dodge MegaCab with 6'4" box, 2008 KZ Dorango, 1/2ton) Solution was installing a Reese Sidewinder, worked like a charm.Re: Towing with Dodge short bedI also experienced the same issue as LADYRVer with the slide binding the tailgate. GPGRe: FIC entry lock problemsThanks laknox for the feedback... I'm of two minds. Now that we discovered the secret of the push/pull system it is a very simple fix. However I did notice the the inside of the door jam striker plate was a little rough to the touch. So a little smoothing may make the difference. Regards from CanadaFIC entry lock problemsNeed some help/guidance. FCI EF 320 Our FCI entry door lock is acting up. I seem to remember reading awhile back that others had the same issue. PROBLEM: When using the door handle latch... not the deadbolt Key freely enters the tumbler Tumbler also freely turns in both direction BUT the latch handle does not move, staying in the lock position.
