What hapened to this Build Back Better promise. There is $65 billion in the bipartisan infrastructure bill for exactly that. Going to take some time though.Re: Fire Cube Gen 3Just another thing to consider. How capable is the new tv at being able to add new streaming apps? I have an older Samsung smart tv that has apps for Netflix, Hulu, and a ton of others but not HBO Max. And there was no way to add it. So I bought a fire stick for $25 and was easily able to add the HBO Max app on it. Then DW wanted to watch a women's college basketball game being broadcast on some obscure streaming network and was going to do it on her laptop. Instead a search on the Fire stick found the app & installed it so she could watch on the TV.Re: air compressorsI've had my Viair 300P for years. You can find it for less than $200 if you shop around. According to Viair it's good for up to 33" tires and 120 psi. The 400P is good for 35" tires. My trailer tires are 14" so well within it's capacity. Only takes a few minuets to top off a tire. Never tried pumping a totally flat tire but I can't imagine it would take very long.Re: Replacement for Jensen Entertainment CenterWhen the Jensen unit in my trailer would no longer play DVD's I spent a ton of time researching to find a quality brand to replace it. Only to find, as you have, that the brands available for RV's are all pretty much junk. If I wanted quality I was going to have to get separate components and do a bunch of modification to fit and wire them up. In the end I decided to just get a newer model Jensen from Crutchfield. It was cheap enough that I could just live with it until it broke and throw it away for new one. On the plus side it was the same dimensions as the old one and the wiring harness connectors were identical so It was literally plug and play. 5 minutes start to finish.Re: ModificationsAdded fantastic fan over the bed. Replaced the Hengs noisy over the range exhaust hood with the Fabulous Operating Products (same people that invented the fantastic fan) 3 speed exhaust fan with LED light.Re: RODENTS!leaving the hood open works because the rats don't like the light. They want their nest to be dark 24/7. Google Rid-a-rat, it's a small LED strobe that you hook to your battery and should keep the packrats away. Don't know if it works on mice though.Re: RV plywood cleaning stains and repairI would think any of the deck cleaner products available at the local big box store would work.Re: Small "peel and stick" solar panelsHad a friend that used to work for a local company that makes flexible solar panels specifically for RVs. They use some sort of adhesive to mount them. No idea what they cost. https://globalsolar.com/sites/default/files/uploads/documents/PoweFLEX_Mobile_Data_Sheet_1000608_C.pdfRe: Inflatable KayaksI have the Sea Eagle 370 works great for just simple paddling around. It's easy to inflate/deflate and stows easily in the pass through storage.Re: COVID vaccination for animalsCame across this article: https://www.npr.org/2021/03/16/975405670/zoo-vaccinates-apes-to-protect-both-animals-and-humans-from-covid-19 I read in another article that speculation is that an asymptomatic zookeeper was the source of infection.
