Going back up that Kelly's mountains of I take 105, would be real tough. Truck developed plugged egr cooler on the trip so that's a big climb with that.

On thanks, 105 was great on the way here. Gps says # 4 is fastest way back since I'm not going to Baddeck on my day back. How are the hills /mountains on #4

Hwy #4 on Cape Breton, any good
So I got here to Fort Louisbourg by going to Baddeck first then down to the Fort. Going back gps is directing me to take hwy 4. Is the hwy any good pulling 30 toy hauler.

So I'm here in Fort L, and came through the island by way of Baddeck. Gps now wants to take me back by Hwy #4, is that any good pulling 30'?

Doesn't it go around the whole island? I mapped it and its over 500 KM, that seems like a long day with stops.

If we were to try and take in some of the Cabot trail, what section should we look at? Say 2 day max in the area, arrive explore a little first night then drive some the trail second day, then leave the following morning over to Peggy's cove area. Thinking you don't want to tow trailer around the trail?

Thanks for the links , we won't be in the area until Aug 5-11. Fundy is Booked. Just inquiring at Lunenberg . Any other suggestion for waht to do in the area would be great
