For 15 years now the TWO sites I have used are... look at your "finger prints"; ring finger off center of the finger print toward the pinky on the ring finger. That has always provided more than sufficient blood, is NEVER sore, has no scarring. Don't get too far around to the side and stick into the joint/boney area. Worst finger to get blood from is the index finger. Do not stick directly into the finger print pad of your finger unless you want soreness.Re: Replacing a roof...Another question.... isn't this basically what we are talking about? I realize labor is the major cost. http://www.hilltoprv.com/parts_store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=381_397_560&products_id=9819Re: Replacing a roof...I just never imagined that a membrane roof would cost that much. Mercy!Replacing a roof...We have a Springdale 296BHSSR. A limb fell on the front corner of the slideout and another limb dented the roof just beside the a/c unit right above the entrance door. The slide out damage is enough that it leaked. But the other ding is just an impression. The insurance adjuster just left and since we don't have a lein on the TT a check was written to us to get the roof replaced. The check amount is so high that I am here now asking "how much does a new roof cost!!!". I know some of you have replaced the roof on your TT yourself and I don't recall anyone talking about high prices. Can anyone shed some light on this cost for me? DIY and at the shop prices, from experience. Thanks, CherylRe: California to Florida tripTake it from someone that lives in MISSISSIPPI that you really do not want to visit during the months of late May, June, July, August and most of September. I'm in west central MS and it doesn't cool off until Halloween here. Now it is cooler in October but we still have to run a/c! Around Thanksgiving it get dreary some days and Jan - Feb tends to be the coldest time and if it is going to sleet or ice it will be in February. March, April and early May or late September through Thanksgiving is when I would travel the lower states.Re: Too many kids? There is one campground about 24 miles from us has several family areas. But one area they allow the travel trailers, tents, popups etc to settle in a circle/square like covered wagons and all awnings and door are located to the center. Everyone knows where their child is and usually this is a big group. This same area is the most popular area when they have their Fall Festival / Halloween Party !!Re: Leave the kids home!!!No one likes a crying child. All agree on that one. But no one bothered to see WHY the child was crying. Most speculate an ear infection or teething. I suspect autism or some other special need. Sad thing is this get away could have been something the family was so looking forward to for the rest of the children. Parents of special needs children have to do what they can the best way they can at the time. That is my speculation.Re: Holy Cow, What a weekCan I comment on the storage unit subject? I think the main consideration when trying to decide what to get rid of and what to pay to store is to determine how much you will pay over time for the storage vs the value of what you are storing. If you are storing sentimental items only most likely when you come back to the storage unit you will wonder why you paid to store things you should have gotten rid of to begin with. Furniture doesn't cost all that much to replace and you would be starting over. The cost of storage could be banked for new furniture and "stuff". JMHO.Re: Cool Vintage RigI would love one of those!! I already have the front half, a 1966 VW Beetle the same color as the one behind the trailer when it heads down the highway (Bahama Blue).
