It took few hours but thanks to youtube i got it done.Re: Help moving trailerYou could buy AAA membership with RV coverage (if it is offered in your area) and have them tow it for ya.Re: Brake and bearing serviceHe told me he called his buddy from the RV store where he used to work and they supposedly charge $85/hour and figure, what I need done, to be about 6 hours of labor. I guess at those rates I am getting a bargain. Reason I started looking to get it done is because my brakes dont seem to engage as well at highway speeds as they do going 25mph.Re: Brake and bearing serviceSeems that i could get the whole hub assembly and brakes at $100 per wheel from etrailer.Brake and bearing serviceIs $250 a fair price to service brakes and repack bearings on a dual axle trailer? This is the quote from the guy that used to work for a trailer dealer so i am assuming it will be done properly. This is the 3rd year of my ownership and it hasn't been done. Not sure when/if the previous owner had it done. I could try it myself but this would be my first time ever and i dont feel comfortable doing it.Re: Please help me with solar setupI am in the Northeast so mostly sea-level. Mile high is basically out of the question. Niner, what charge controller are you using?Re: Please help me with solar setupI haven't decided yet. My head needs to stop spinning. ;) I was going to ask for suggestions on better controllers in the $100 range. Thinking of also going 24v with MPPT since i found some quality (at least to me) panels on dmsolar.com. but I am not really sure how to read the specs on those panels. Somehow i think that 8amp from 250watt 24v panel must be "better" than from 150w 12v panel. Am i making sense?Re: Please help me with solar setupI am not against using 24v panels and MPPT controler albeit a cheap one, but it was suggested earlier that I will get more out of the 12v/PWM system. Almot: Old panels will go. they are about 20W if that and wired with 16AWG wire or something similar. So the plan is for just 2 new panels with the new controler. If I were to go with these Poly panels from SolarBlvd I wouldnt bother with more panels. There is also an option with two of these Mono panels but from what I read poly will be a bit better in cloudy conditions. I am thinking about the Morningstar SS20L for the controler. I believe this should be enough for the panels chosen. Or the Xantrex C35 that you mentioned if it is better.
