Gasoline Credit Cards
I thought I was so smart when I got a BP Credit Card and earned fuel perks. It worked well for several years when we traveled in our motorhome east of the Mississippi. I earned many discounts and free tanks of gas. This winter we traveled from Ohio to Arizona and in my planning I figured we could get 25 free tanks of fuel with the perks we had saved. Since there was a great deal of snow when we left, we went straight south and then started west on I-10. Much to my suprise, I haven't seen a single BP since we crossed the Mississippi River. Is there another credit card out there that can earn fuel that will work all over the country? We plan to return to Arizona again next year and I would like to save on fuel. I just updated my cell phone and lost all of my apps. I remember that I had Good Sam, RV Parky, Sanidumps, and KOA. I think I had more but can't remember what they were. We recently moved to Lorain County and enjoy driving along the lake. We have heard of campgrounds on the islands but need to know about the cost of getting there by ferry and the limit of our length. We are members of Coast to Coast and Good Sam, so using them is a possibility. Hopefully with kids back to school we'll find some open campsites. I replaced a 2004 Saturn Ion as a toad with a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. When I started towing the Saturn I had the same problem and quickly found that I could avoid it by pulling a particular fuse. What can I do to stop the Crosstrek's battery from draining when it is towed? Is it as easy as pulling a certain fuse or something else? Any help will be appreciated. After over 40 year of RV'ing in everything from a conversion van to a Class A we downsized to a Class C with bunk beds to accomidate our dogs and grandkids. The only problem is that twice my wife has forgotten about the step from the rear to the kitchen and fallen down, once necessitating a trip to the emergency room. I have thought about building a little ramp and just keeping the curtain closed as a reminder of the step.
