Camping South Padre Island
I am looking for a nice RV Park, full hookups on South Padre. We are taking the Grandkids to see the turtle release next summer. I would be open to an RV Park with beach access North of this area. Any personal recommendations are much appreciated. Thanks, James

Thanks again fellow campers. We are stopping at Huntsville State Park on the return trip next Friday. We have stayed at a lot of State Parks and this will be a new one. Happy Trails to All

We are leaving for Galveston this Sunday and have always gone through Houston to Galveston. Has anyone used the Sam Houston Tollway/Beltline 8 to go around Houston? Thanks

Thanks to everyone. We got here about 3:30 on Saturday. One site was left, site 30. It is a good one and I see what everyone means most are all good. The prairie dogs are neat to watch. Should be great weather this weekend. Thanks again.

Thanks for the input. Since we are going in February, I hope there are not many mosquites. This sounds like a neat State park and a lot to see in the area.

Has anyone camped at Goose Island State Park and would make a recommendation? Good Sites? We are going to the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge and looking for a good RV park. Prefer full hookups. Thanks for any ideas. JP
