Congratulations.Re: Grand Design vs MontanaWe have a 2013 Montana 3750fl... we know owners of both the Solitude and Montana FL's, and compared comments good and bad . We plan to upgrade and have stepped into both rigs and explored and " got the feel" in regards of our comfort, It is a matter of individual choice ,but given the features and comfort of the layout for us,. we are giving the Montana our blessingRe: Favorite floorplans for FWWe love our 3750 front living room-Montana-for us having the bedroom for quiet sleeping in the rear and 2 doors with access to the bath and kitchen with the slides closed works well for us. The living room ceiling height is very good. Everyone has an idea that works. IMHO when you walk in you will get "the feeling" of comfort and" hominess"when you are in the right one. Then it comes to colors decor etc.Re: hitch for 2015 duramaxWe have a Pull -Rite in our 2013 Duramax. So far we are very happy with thd performance.Re: Norcold 1210.... Help!!Thank you everyone. I am still investigating ,but so far the fuses are good. 12v does operate the panel, no error codes ,but am going to investigate that we have power at the 120 plug. when I get it fixed ,will post for future reference for everyon.Norcold 1210.... Help!!Our Norcold 1210 Refer works good on propane but doesn't on electric 12v or 120v. Fuses are good .Anyone else have this? Any ideas short of going to the dealer? it is only a year old and should still be under warranty, but .... Thanks, Jim and LaurieRe: Brain Lapse!A couple thoughts. Even after 37+ years of driving semi's I visually check my 5th wheel jaws , handle and pull test. If I park somewhere , when I come back to the rig I re-check it and do a walk around in case some low-life messed with it. Now as for our own 5th wheel I do the same and also added a little "insurance". I installed a Bed Saver. That is in case I have a "senior moment".Re: First post! Need advice from you good fellas!!!Ok my .02 and given your quest, an Arctic Fox would be good , but for oilfield working-living , for me it would be a Teton. Made hell for stout by folks that started by building units for rugged use during Wyoming winters and being towed on oilfield-mining-ranch roads. Not made any more , but still #1 in my book.Re: Thinking of buying a 5th wheelWe had same dilemma, when we had our Tundra and TT, but we were ready to go with a fifth wheel and found we were really limited on choices, we hashed it back and forth on what to do. Because I and the DW were fortunate enough, we went with upgraded Tow Rig to fit our 5th wheel choice. No regrets here. Good luck.Re: 4 or 5 on tire replacementWe do all 5 and rotate them .
