After my granddaughter and her husky stayed in my TT while her husband was deployed, I also had black tank odor. I checked all the inline drain vents and cleaned them still had odor. Went up on top and removed the vent cap and used a snake to check for clogs. The vent pipe was clogged with TP. after clearing the clog and installing a new cap I used my pressure washer to clean any left over material in the tank. I hope I do not confuse you more but, If you use a drop cord between your 30 amp TT cord and the house use at least a #12-3 cord preferably a #10-3 cord. This has to do with the ability of the cord to carry the amperage without over heating. I hope I did not cause more confusion. Ed383Views0likes0Comments
