So if I want to only charge the house I can seperate the chassis cable from the Bim225 and insert the positive to the chassis cable and pick up a ground from the house battery shunt? Would it be possible to then hook an on off switch between bim chassis terminal and the positive and leave it in the off position till a boost would be needed? I would instal a 120v battery maintainer on the chassis battery to prevent depleting it due to parasitic loads during camping.255Views0likes0CommentsRe: Reseal roof on class A
Be SURE to follow the instructions for EternaBond,,,, Clean well, prime if required and DO NOT Strech the tape. Use a roller to assure proper contact. I have had a 96 HR Endeavor which had First Owner applied Eternabond which was still good a year ago when I sold it. (1996 to 2019) The prep is always the determining factor. As I understand tires are made from petroleum products and rubber. The plasticizer used to keep the rubber flexible is a petroleum product. the UV and non movement are the two biggest factors in shortening a tires life. How can a petrolium product hurt a petrolium product Do what you will but a UV protectant is crucial. I for one use the 303 once a month. I want to detach the chassis alternator from charging the house batteries. WHY? Because I do not wanting lithium batteries drawing all the alternator can provide and causing the alternator to overheat ( especially at low rpms) I think that removing the small ignition wire from the Bim-225 will do this. I dont care if I dont have the boost capability. Am I correct as to the wire to disconnect????1.9KViews0likes5Comments
