Hi: I bough a 18” directv satellite dish with a d12-100 receiver from a fellow camper who does not use it enymore, he said that it is working great. When I try to set it up at home I could not get it to work, I m getting transponders signal in the 70’s , all my set up is correct but I still don’t get any pictures . I call direct tv and they told me that my d12-100 receiver will not work, that I need to get a NEW box from a dealer not from a friend? Any help would be much appreciated. Yep I find it whey up on the steering column Thank's. Now i have another question, does the check engine light connected to a fuse ? I tried to find coil on line with no result, I have the # from the old coil # EE03A,3W7E-12A366-AA,4C2043 but I cant find anything with that No. on line. I have look on the ford site but they want over $500 for the set of 10 with a different number? is there a cross reference chart that will show me what I should get? Apparently I have a new model # H25 receiver. After doing some research, it is not compatible wit my dish, I will need to get an older model receiver such as a D12 receiver. I bough a winegard satellite oval dish with a tripod for $8.00 at a back yard sale. I tried to set it up for my motor home tv with my home receiver, all i get is a message saying that it can't communicate with the satellite dish 775. I try to do the help, and did everything that was required. but nothing still. Can someone help me set it up and what do I need do do so. also a wiring diagram. Thank you for any help.
