Has anyone drilled a small hole in the bottom of the clearance light lens so that any water that might get in it would drip out the bottom. How did it work.
Looking for a source for a good price on a electric transfer fuel pump for a 2002 cummins 8.3 mine has started to leak and so far have only found one from Cummins.
When I start my 8.3 cummins (2002) it seems very slow to build up air pressure unless I bring engine speed up to 1200 RPM. Air pressure holds for hours after it is up to pressure. Am I having compressor problems?
I drilled a large 1 1/4" hole at each bolt and filled it with washers to a depth above the flooring level and then bolted the seat down. It has been two years and no problem.
In searching for a pump I came across a technical service bulletin from Cummins stating that the transfer pump should be changed since the introduction of ULSD destroys the transfer pump gasket. (Not available separately).
