All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsSlide room cable adjustmentHi. I have a 2015 Keystone Bullet TT. After only 20 "cycles" (that is, extend the room and retract the room = one cycle), a cable snapped. This happened two months after warranty expired, of course. Keystone won't help, stating that the cables need to be adjusted...and weren't. I noticed that the owner's manual has nothing listed for cable adjustment under the table of Maintenance Requirements. Under Slide Out Systems, it says "periodically, during the normal course of operation, Slide-out systems and rooms will require adjustment. How often are you supposed to adjust the cables, how can you know if they need to be adjusted, how do you adjust them. If they are out of adjustment, is it OK to use the room to get on the road? I can't seem to get this info from Keystone. Thanks for your help!Re: Fender skirt questionsBelated thanks for the replies. My PC had a virus. I will try your solutions! Thanks again, all.Fender skirt questionsHi, all. Quite a newby here. I have a Keystone Bullet TT. The fender skirts are very flimsy and have broken - I know this is big news to everyone. :) Two questions: 1. do the skirts serve any purpose or are they just to make the rig look pretty? 2. Is there anything that I can use to make the skirts more rigid? ??Plasti dip? Thanks everyone!Suggestions for long tripHi all! We will be on the road for 23 days this fall and want to save some jingle by making most of our meals. We will eat an occasional lunch out (can't go to New England and not have chowder and lobster). We thought we would take frozen chili and soups along for some suppers but would love to hear your suggestions for a little variety. The more we can pre-make the better. Thanks for your help!
