I had not found two of the campgrounds mentioned. Either might work. Thanks for your time in helping. Safe and happy travels to all.Camping in the Cincinnati, Dayton areaPlanning a trip in October to visit elderly family members. Are there any campgrounds that our 38’ motorhome (full body slide and 2nd slide out) will fit in in either area or somewhere in between? Don’t mind rustic but want clean and hopefully level sites. (It could even be in the surrounding areas,) Any help would be appreciated. Bill & KathiRe: Cross Country TripI agree there is a lot to see in our beautiful "US of A." However, DO NOT let anyone talk you out of enjoying your trip just because you can't see it all. Way to many people have wanted to travel and see parts unknown to them only to fall ill or have things happen to keep them from it. Go and be flexible! Enjoy what you can in the length of time you have. Who knows if you will ever get the chance again. If you do GREAT! If you don't, you and your family) will always have the memories from the trip you made. Guess what, you won't know what you missed because you didn't do it. Just gives you a reason to plan trip #2. Example, Hubby and I made a trip out west. High-tailed it across many states to get to Colorado where our daughter flew in. Spent 10 fantastic days with her going to Little Big Horn, Yellowstone, Oregon coast, Washington State and in to Canada. She flew out and Hubby and I covered Glacier NP, Medora, ND and Roosevelt NP, sites all around Rapid City including Custard SP and even hit Branson, MO on the way home. Had the time of our lives. We enjoyed our "family" vacation so much we are doing it again this year up the East coast. (We've done it before but daughter was young and doesn't remember much of it.) If there is a next time to go out West there is lots more I want to see. Enjoy your travels. Time on this earth is short, at best. I have a journey planned that no one can take from me and while I don't know when I'll be taking it, it will have all the other beat hands down. Hope to see you there!:)Re: On the road and due an oil changeI agree. My husband was with them the whole time. Can't be to careful.Re: On the road and due an oil changeThanks to each of you for the help/advise you gave. I know I can always count on the RV-netters to come through. I want to report we called the Valvoline Oil on W. Broadway in Missoula. They were super friendly and thought they could help us. When we arrived we found the bay door to be plenty tall but our mirrors prevented us from getting in the bay. These guys wasted no time assuring us they could change the oil in the lot and proceeded to do just that. They seemed happy we came, provided fast, excellent service and the price was reasonable. (About $60) We were very pleased and are proud to give them a good recommendation. Two of the workers helped my husband back around to get out a side entrance and two others were standing close by watching. As I passed by they shouted, "Thanks for coming in. Have a great day." Kinda puts a smile on your face.On the road and due an oil changeWe are currently in Missoula, MT and are needing an oil change for our 2013 Coachmen Encounter. Does anyone know where we might get one done here. Also we will be moving on to Billings soon. Anywhere there that we might call ahead? Thanks in advance. You all seem to come through when we need it.Re: Cape Kiwanda RV Resort, OregonThanks for the input. Appreciate it. B&KRe: Cape Kiwanda RV Resort, OregonWow, thanks again, everyone.
