No idea if it actually works and does not address the problem of getting rid of unwanted guests, but does sound interesting.Re: Oil change at the dealer? Hold onto your wallet. As far as the $160 quote ending up to be $205, ... questionable fuzzy math by the dealership that should not have happened.. I do not have a motorhome at this point, but I would have probably opted for the $160 price tag for the dealership to change the oil and do the tire rotation. Taking into consideration that this is a new vehicle, to you, and assuming the dealership actually performed a valid 27 point inspection, it would have been worth the "One time" expense for the "Peace of mind" factor. Especially when the rig came out with a clean bill of health! Next time an oil change comes due, I would probably do it myself if feasible. You and your bride had a fantastic trip, so I would just sweep this under the rug and not give it a second thought.Re: Seven western states.... 38 days of fun (long story)Thank you for the excellent recap of your trip! I imagine the flawless performance of your RV added to your wonderful experience as well. In your opinion, would it have been significantly more difficult to travel the same roads in a 30 foot class C motor home instead of a 25 footer? The Nexus Phantom 23P is beginning to look more appealing to me the more I research it.Re: Best solutions for vent fansThank you for the replies. As usual, it helps me get a better visualization of what I really want and need. Looking at the bathroom configuration again, it definitely makes sense to have a good fan in the bathroom area. I will replace the "Whirl and Buzz " fan with the MaxxAire Deluxe. When taking a shower, the accordion door will be extended to separate the bedroom from the shower. The bathroom door would be opened all the way to separate, somewhat, the rest of the coach from the bathroom area. The fan has 10 different speeds settings, so it will do a good job of removing moisture, etc. No fan added for the bedroom area. I will add the MaxxAire Deluxe to the front living area as well. Ventilation and air circulation is a good thing. Thanks again for the advice.Best solutions for vent fansWe are getting closer to purchasing our first RV. Follow the link below for the floor plan layout to get the layout of the bathroom area configuration. Nexus RV Phantom 28P floor plan We plan on adding two vent fans on the ceiling, MaxxAire Deluxe. One in the rear bedroom area and the other in the living area up front. This is where the standard fan in the commode area comes into question. If one were to leave the bathroom door partially open while not in use, is there a need for a vent fan in the commode area at all? I have not discussed the possibility of deleting the bathroom vent fan with Nexus RV, but it seems to be an easy change to accommodate at the time of construction. I have read on this forum that one does not want the vent fan in the commode area to be running while flushing the toilet. This would make sense since the airflow would tend to pull odor from the black tank. I would think the additional vent fan in the bedroom area would take care of moisture concerns from the shower area. I do not know if there is a concern of the original vent closure on top of the RV to crack or leak over a period of time, but if it is not there at all, no worries at all. Am I over thinking this or should I just add the two new vent fans and leave the original as is? Thanks in advance for your advice.Re: New Nexus Phantom 25P With Walk-Around BedHere is the link to the bedroom slide of the Phantom 25P in action: Bedroom slide explainedRe: Nexus Class CThe Nexus RV website (www.nexusrv.com) now has the videos up for the two new models; The Phantom 25P as well as the Phantom 32SC. I have this to add. 1. The quality is there. Everything was solid 2. All new units come with LED lighting inside. 3. Went inside a Ghost and this is just my opinion but didnt really appreciate a tremendous increase in space vs the Phantom. And this was comparing a Phantom 28p with no slide and a Ghost 34G. But to each his own 4. The staff is outstanding! Met Dave and he was great. Loren is fantastic. 5. The factory was clean and spacious. Saw a quality check sheet and it is extensive. Take away is that they build a quality product. There is no sense of rush to meet numbers. I met both Dave and Claude at the Chicago RV show in February of this year. I have talked to Loren over the phone a few times and sent a few emails back and forth. They all seem to be top notch people to deal with. The best RV for my wife and myself at this time is the Phantom 28 P (we do not want slide outs) with a few modifications. The mods would include MCD window shades, solid shower door, delete skylight from shower, and have side valances on all windows (a little longer than what is currently used as well). I have not seen these phantom 28 P except for some photos. What was your overall impression that particular model? It seems to be relatively spacious even without the slide outs.
