One them that I thought of for now is.. I have a 2004 Diesel Pusher that has a Engine Heater... Will running my generator at night be wrong? With the temps so cold...Re: Roll Call Alaska 2018 CA Traveler wrote: Run the gen for the block heater as needed. Using the inverter for the block heater draws a lot of house amps and not recommended. After doing some more research you right it would pull to much and drain the batteries way to much and recovery would be long....Re: Roll Call Alaska 2018Thanks for the responses; I do not have Aqua Hot.... I do understand the battery system, I'll have to think about keeping the engine heater on. I could use the converter/inverter but perhaps running the generator would cure the problem..The fuel used would be worth the once in a life time adventure......Re: Roll Call Alaska 2018I have a technical question for those of you that have Diesel Pushers or anyone else that might know. When traveling up in the North and you boondock and the temps get down on the 20's. When it comes to start the engine in the morning how do you handle the engine heater? I have 4 6volt deep cycle batteries?Re: Roll Call Alaska 2018Janet; may as well put us on the "Wanna-Be-In-Alaska" in 2018.. We just got back from doing a cruise and fell in Love... Now we want to drive... Good Sam Roadside does offer specials from time to time for new members, "gift" memberships, and also different levels of membership that have different prices. Thanks in advance for your assistance. I do understnad they have to make $$$$ but you would think they would give their loyal members a break.... But that's OK word of mouth goes along way.....Re: So Disappointed and This Will Probably Get Deleted RoadsideGuy wrote: Thank you Just Lee for your post. I am a Life Time Member of Good Sam (been a Member for 9yrs). I got my re-renewal for GSRA (3 months early) and they want me to Pay $112.95 for a year and then 2 days later I get a OFFER to buy GSRA for $59.95 if your signing up for the first time.. What's wrong with this picture? You have a loyal Member that has been with you for 9yrs (and on fixed income) and they have to pay almost twice as much??? I understand that Good Sam is trying to attract new Members but why are they treating their loyal Members like 2nd class citizens...Re: Amazon Fire TV Questions?Thank You tatest for your in-depth post. So far what I am learning is I do not need 4k we are not gamers and do not download or stream movies. Mostly we watch network TV and sometimes TNT, History, Weather Channels etc.... No HBO, Showtime, etc. Wife does like having the DVR to be able to record network programs......
