They had a lot of plans for expansion back then. We just settled into a park outside of Melbourne, FL.Any full timers off the road?I'm curious to see if there are any full timers off the road and still living in their rv full time. Pf so, how long and how has it been?Re: My first oops!! (with pic,s)Were your house batteries dead?Re: You know you are an RVer when...You check "Do It Yourself Modifications and Upgrades (DIY)" every day for a new posting that you may use.Re: Central vacuum problemI know it's not the hose because it does the same thing when the hose is not connected. Plus it also does this when we try to use the toe kick in the kitchen. It's not the electrical 110v outlet because I also have a 18v battery charger connect to that outlet and the charging light stays on during this time. The bag is completely empty and new. The secondary filters are clean and in place. Someone mentioned something about the bag blocking the flow, How is that possible? It can only go on one way. Any way of testing that thermal switch? Where is it located? Where the hose connects?Central vacuum problemWe have the Dust Devil central vacuum system and here of late have been have an issue with it. It will only run for about 15-30 seconds and then start going on and off, but not completely. And then it shuts down. At first I thought is was because the bag was full. But it's still doing it with a new bag. Any suggestions?Re: Funny things that really happen RV'ingThis reminds me of the time I owned a full service gas station. Customer pulls up to the full service lane and I go out and start pumping her gas and cleaning her windshield (remember those days?) and she says to me, "This is going to sound silly. But can you tell me where the windshield washer is on this car, it's a rental?" I said sure and I reached inside and pushed the button on the end of the turn signal lever to show her. She thanked me and then said, "Now can you please tell us where we are?" My reply, your in the state of Florida. She laughed and said I known that. I said, well you didn't know where the windshield washer was, so I couldn't be sure you knew you were in Florida. She and I both had a good laugh with that one.Re: Excellent Christmas GiftWhere did you find one for $149.00?Re: Lawnmower RacingA couple years ago we went to a belt sander race.Re: Has anyone found a good way to remove decals robrose1 wrote: I use my DW's hair dryer on low heat. They usually come right off unless the decals are cracking. I used goop to get the glue off then I buffed the rig. Test goop first because it can take the paint off. I have some decals that look like a dried up river bed. How would one get those off?
