There isn’t enough room or slack in the fuel line to get off the bottom clamp. Saw a video on utube where one guy was able to somehow get it off but wasn’t able to put the new one on. There doesn’t seem to be any bottom access either. Thanks.Re: leak at window over bunk cabI am having almost the same exact problem you are having. Have probably spent 30 hours taking out/resealing windows, replaced all the running lights, resealing (and sometimes taking apart) every joint that I can thing of and still have water getting in the cabover. I have the bottom trim piece off under the cabover and have it temporarily taped over when it rains. After every hard rain after pealing back the tape there is moisture at the bottom of the cabover. Just a note on the sliding window - mine was leaking from the bottom also but when I took out the window to reset it the water was actually coming from above the top of the window frame and running around the frame and leaking out the bottom. I agree with the others to get a pressure test. The closest one I could find that uses the SealTech system was Stymeist Collision Center at 3948 Highway 49, Placerville, CA 95667. Don Hinshaw was the contact at 530 644-7703 They quoted me $150.00. For the time being I am going to try to rig up some kind of leak test system of my own and if I can't get that to work am going to take it down to them. Hope this helps, Jeff.Re: Hub caps replacementhttp://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CP2HOU/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=IUWPO7N2D2YD&coliid=IBVB4QXWR3UHQRe: Craft Business while RVingWe do craft shows using a class C and pulling a 10' cargo trailer, however we make our wood products at home and then travel to shows to sell them. We do have trouble getting close for load in and load out but I have built my booth in 5 sections that can be wheeled out to side streets. There are certain shows that we don't do that are too tight for us to find parking close enough. The best combination that I have seen (if you can afford it)is to have a class A and then tow a cargo van with all of your products in it. That way you can drive the van right to your booth space for set up and take down. Several of my friends use this system. Sometimes they can stay overnight right at the show and sometimes they stay at campgrounds and drive the van back and forth. If you have a small booth setup you can even use a car for the toad.Re: Bakersfield TransientI use 7th Standard Rd.Re: Hott Rod Water heater element install torridgirl wrote: I hooked up my Hott Rod water heater conversion kit to give myself an electric option on my all propane water heater and all is going pretty good except for one thing. The only outlet I can read with the cord shares a circuit with the water pump and if I run them both at the same time the pump doesn't get the necessary juice and I don't get any water out. If unplug the water heater it all goes back to normal. The instructions for the Hott Rod say don't use an extension cord with it so I can't reach another outlet. Any suggestions? Do you think it might be ok with a heavy duty extension cord? This RV is an older one so warranty is not an issue and I live in it full time. It stays parked in one place so i could take the extension cord to an alternate outside protected plug. I'm having trouble picturing this. Is your water pump 120V or are you plugging the Hott Rod into a 12V receptacle? Or are your 12V batteries dead and the extra 120V drain on your converter overwhelming it so it can't supply 12V?Re: Road Trip to Yellowstone - Help!We were there 11 days and did it no problem with our 24' class C. Be advised however that RV's of any size are prohibited on Firehole Lake Drive, Firehole Canyon Drive, Fairy Falls parking (however there is parking on 89 and you can walk in) and Blacktail Plateau Drive. These are ones that I know of and all of these I wanted to see and wasn't able to except for the Fairy Falls trail. If we were to do it again for the same amount of time I would rent a car for 3 days and use the RV on the other 8.Re: TST 507 REPEATER REGUIREMENTIs there any reason not to have a repeater even with a short rv? Seems like for the extra $40 or $50 to have the system work as good as it possibly can would be worth the money so I don't have to worry about it.Re: tires and brakes on my four winds chevy 3500 chassisDidn't quite remember correctly - was off by a couple of pounds. In my Haynes repair manual it says that the caliper mounting bracket bolts for the 2500/3500 are supposed to torque at 221 Ft-lbs. Not sure how accurate the Haynes manual is.Re: tires and brakes on my four winds chevy 3500 chassisLike I said in an earlier post I think that those bolts are supposed to torque at 225#'s. After applying locktite I torqued them with my torque wrench to 180#'s and then used a 1/2" breaker bar with a pipe on it and turned the bolts another 1/8 turn.
