Campground would have to be on the water (bay or ocean side) and have full hookups. Any recommendations on places to eat would be appreciated. Thanks in advanceRe: Anybody know what's going on with Happijac? Joe417 wrote: I haven't tried in a few years but never had problems in the past. They were very responsive when I did call. You might try Lippert Industries. 574-535-1125. I agree, I called them a few years back about my happijac jacks, they were very helpful and sent me some free parts. Just wondering what changed. Thanks for the number I'll try them.Re: Anybody know what's going on with Happijac?I posted here because I know a lot of your use happijac, but I purchased a Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer for my trailer and some of parts didn't fit right. Nobody answers the phone there no matter which option you choose, even choosing operator sends you to voice mail.I sent an email and got a response saying they are sending my email to parts. Now I'm waiting for the parts department to get back to me. Terrible service.Anybody know what's going on with Happijac?Been trying to call them for two days, no one answers all I get is the answering machine. Left messages and no one gets back to me. Anyone else have a problem with them?Carrying chairs without a ladderHow do you transport your chairs on the outside of your RV without a ladder rack? Brought it in for a recall and oil change, and found that both upper and lower ball joints are shot. Does that seem right? We only haul our 5th wheel about 300 miles total per year. That's the only workout our truck gets. When I took my truck in for trans fluid change the dealer told me the same thing, wanted around $1,500 to repair. Told him no thanks and took it to my local mechanic for inspection, they found nothing with the ball joints.Re: Furrion 30Amp plug kit SoundGuy wrote: SJR wrote: The marinco plugs will screw right into the furion. I'm surprised, as the diameter of the Furrion female 30 amp connector is slightly smaller (41.5 mm) than the diameter of the Marinco female 30 amp (45.5 mm) ... so if the female Furrion properly fits the Furrion male mounted on the trailer then logically the Marinco would be too big to fit. :h I made a 6 foot cord with marinco connectors to plug into my previous trailer while parked in my driveway. The cord fits perfectly with the furrion plug on my new trailer. I use the screw on coller.Re: Furrion 30Amp plug kitI've done the marinco mode to 3 campers, no complaints about the quality of marinco. My current camper came with a furrion plug installed. The marinco plugs will screw right into the furion.Re: Horizontal propane tank leakingFinally got the valve replaced, cost me $31 to get the valve replaced, tank recertified and filled with propane.Re: Horizontal propane tank leaking Chris Bryant wrote: Being a truck camper, it is likely a horizontal DOT cylinder, not a frame mount ASME tank. I agree take it to a real LP place, who can likely simply replace the packing in the valve, and not the entire valve. OPD valves for horizontal cylinders can be hard to find. This is for truck camper, tank is not frame mounted. Didn't know they could repack the valve -that would save some $. I finally found a place by my brothers house about a hour away.
