Think about it???? Being the sceptic that I am I'm thinking the greaseable bearings are the least expensive. BTW I've had a greaseable bearing fail.Re: Dexter 8k axles, nev-r-lube bearingsHad Never Lubes on 05 Carriage Cameo for 79k miles and now on 13 Lifestyle with 8K axles approaching 40k. No problems.Re: 2011 Silverado braking vibrates during downhillMy F450 did the same thing. Heavy braking downhill or sometimes level ground caused vibration. Not towing no vibration. Took to dealer. Problem was in front end, not the brakes.Re: Fifth Wheel Hitch DecisionI have an Air Safe 25K with the Binkley head rated for 5.5K pin weight. Works fine for meRe: Ford 5th wheel prep - Do you have an adapter for your hitch?I have an Air Safe 25K hitch and the adapter Air Safe sells. It does raise the hitch but with pin box and hitch adjustment I'm riding level. Fiver does have 4 wheel drive axle adjustment also. Did not lose any distance between truck bed and fiver either.Residential RefrigeratorI just had a Samsung RF18 refrigerator installed. Nice piece of equipment but I can't find an on/off switch. I want to turn it off to wash the interior before loading it up. The owner's manual does not mention a way to turn it off so I've pulled the plug in the interim.Re: BackingWhat makes it different is multiple axles with at least one steerable axle on the trailer. Backing a two axle trailer with one steerable axle used to drive me nuts on the farm.BackingWith a little practice you can back anything! BackingRe: Residential vs Absorbtion Refers (Pros and Cons)If you have a fiver look for cabinet depth reefers. You may have to take the reefer doors off to get it inside. There's probably some interior cabinet work required.Re: 16' Ford SD Brake Controller RayMc wrote: marspec wrote: I have electric/hydraulic disc brakes and the factory controller in my 2013 Ford. It works fine, much better than the P3 worked with my previous truck that didn't have the factory controller. Which actuator is in your rig? My rig is not at the house but it came from manufacturer with Dexter discs. Before the present rig my other rig had discs installed at MorRyde, not Dexter, and the truck's factory controller worked fine with those brakes also.
