Re: First post, first TT, first of many stupid questions. Some asked me to post a pic of the hitch. Re: First post, first TT, first of many stupid questions.Thanks. I'll follow that thread.Re: First post, first TT, first of many stupid questions. Thanks for all of the info. The opinions, advice, and criticism are all appreciated. I'm taking it all to heart. I really did trust the dealer too much, in more ways than one. But, that's on me, and I don't usually do things that way. Normally, I'm on forums at the very beginning of any big decision and working to avoid these sort of situations. Again, on me. We got caught up in the excitement and while we thought that we were asking the right questions, we really didn't, and we didn't do our own due diligence before signing anything. The dealer offered an option of trading it in for something smaller. I'm going to look into that. Go for a Schwinn with a banana seat rather than a Harley until we learn the ropes and how to do this correctly. Again, thanks. Another reason to slow down. You can't react to conditions as well when going too fast. We weren't going 70, more like 55ish. The trip was 70 miles.Re: First post, first TT, first of many stupid questions.BTW, thanks for all of the feedback. I'm currently doing a lot of research that I'd normally do before making a purchase like this, and having serious buyers remorse.Re: First post, first TT, first of many stupid questions. The tires are the prescribed tires, properly inflated, and brand new that morning. The trailer was empty, except for the furnishings and water. The extreme sway event was caused by us being undercut in traffic. Acceleration and going up hills is a struggle, even with the tow package engaged.
