Yesterday while cleaning up the rig, I noticed that the batteries were connected in a strange way. the positive from on battery is connected to the negative of the second batteries and the neg of the 1st is connected to the pos of the 2nd. Does this seem right? I haven't had any electrical problems but it just seemed strange. any comments?5TH WHEEL RECEIVERHello: I have an 07 chevy with a 5th wheel hitch. After leaving Dutch John heading towards Vegas but want to stop in Cedar City Ut. Looking at mapquest there's a couple of different routes. One is 191 south to the 6 ,west to the 15 at Spanish Fork. The other is 191 south to the 70 to the 15. Does anyone have an opinion as to which would be easier and safer? Have 2500hd duramax towing a 30ft. 5er.ALTITUDE PRESSURE SENSORHello: I have an 07 Chevy Duramax/Allison 2500hd. Last year while heading up to the High Sierras and pulling my 30ft 5er, the engine light came on. After calling On star it was determined that it was the Altitude pressure sensor that triggered it off. I waited a while on the side of the road because the truck lost power and went into a slow mode. After a bit, I started it up and it was fine the rest of the trip. When I got home, I took it to the dealer and they agreed that it was the sensor. They replaced it. The next trip, the light came on again when I started climbing and steep grade and it stayed on for a couple of hours. I got to my destination and shut the engine off. When I turned it back on, the light was off and stayed off. When I got home I called the dealer and they told me that they couldn't check the sensor unless the engine light was on. Not a comfortable feeling cuz I plan to go on a pretty long trip in August which I'm sure will involve some climbing. Does this sound right that they can't check the sensor unless the light is on? thanks in advanceALTITUDE PRESSURE SENSORHello: I have an 07 Chevy 2500HD classic duramax/Allison. A couple years ago while heading up to Mammoth from So. Cal, my "check engine" light came on and the truck lost power. I pulled over and called ON Star and was instructed to wait a bit and restart the engine. When I did the light went off and the truck ran fine for the rest of the trip. Came back home and took it to the dealer and they replace the Altitude Sensor. It was fine for a couple more trips and then it came on again but didn't lose power. Got to my destination and the next morning, started it up and the light was off and never came back on. Now we're planning another long trip but I'm concerned about this light going on again and causing problems. I guess I'll take it to the dealer again, but wondering if there's anything I should mention to them other than the obvious? And has anyone else come across this problem? thanks in advance.Re: Teton Pass Wy/IDWe're staying at Teton Valley RV park so we an go to visit Jackson hole. the prices at JH are out of sight and not available so we booked Teton Valley. We checked a lot of the CG between Jackson and Grand Teton and couldn't find openings for our time slot or sites to fit our 5er.Dutch John Utah to Huntington UTHello: It's me again. Ok. so we've book CG for the first part of our trip in August, After Leaving Jackson Hole Wy, we're going to Dutch John UT by the Flaming Gorge. Now after we leave Dutch John, head back home (Murrieta,ca) We'll break up the drive and stop in Huntington UT. The road shown would be UT 191 South. About 200 or so miles. My question is: Has anyone traveled this route? If so, what's it like? Mountains? Steep grades? Fuel? etc. thanks in advance.. MannyRe: Teton Pass Wy/IDHello: I'm sorry, I didn't elaborate in my query: I would like to know the road condition on Highway 22 from Jackson Wy, to Victor ID. It's seems like about a 25 mile run. Trying to get to Teton Valley RV park. After that, I'd like to get to American Falls ID. Never traveled that part of ID so not sure what to expect. By looking at the map, I would think that after leaving Victor it would be better to come down to the 31 to the 26 to Idaho Falls..Does that sound right? Thanks again for your help.Teton Pass Wy/IDCan anyone tell me about the Teton pass from Jackson Wy to Victor ID? Driving from yellowstone in August.. thanks..
